Stage 4 cancer & trapped in my flat! If I do finally succumb to my incurable cancer, do my parents in Wales then inherit a London flat they can’t sell & be responsible for my potential cladding bill as a non qualifying leaseholder? @michaelgove @LQHomesMatter @luhc #cladding – at Lambeth, London

Why does this public servant never address leaseholders, the actual consumers doing the paying?
Delighted to see Tony Essien from @LEASEonline giving the address at the @FoPRA AGM @BishopandSewell #leasehold

The Grenfell disaster was avoidable. Yet the government @luhc chose to prioritise deregulation.
“If the Grenfell Inquiry proves anything, it is that we do not have 5 years. Blocks can go up in flames in minutes; 72 lives can be lost within hours.”

The Bank of England have announced that the Truss-Kwarteng budget blew the UK’s financial reputation out of the water.
Not Corbyn. Not immigration. Not Labour. Not lefty lawyers. Not the rest of the world. Not you. Not me. Not small boats.
No, it was the Truss-Kwarteng budget

Please don't forget to add the delivery of the promised and desperately needed 2nd part of the leasehold reforms.
Part 1 is no good without part 2.....

I assume Boris Johnson is busy trying to find a donor to pay his energy Bills and can't make the time to govern our country and come up with any plan to help with yours.

There is nothing remotely fair about British business. This is nothing more than exploitation. When are we gonna rise up against this exploitation? What the boss of your water company earns and how much sewage discharge they're responsible for inews.co.uk/news/boss-water-…

Millions of properties also unmortgagable due to numerous issues with leasehold. Leasehold really is a licence to print money.

This is what the @Conservatives mean by “getting on with the job”. They’ve broken virtually every election pledge they made. Read this and weep at the state of it

Addendum: it transpires that the overwhelming majority (83%) of consultation responses supported the implementation of PEEPs, but the govt rejected the majority view after individual conversations with building owners branded the proposals impracticable

If there is anybody who has had a baby whilst trapped in their flat, or are raising a family whilst trapped, and wouldn’t mind reaching out to me I would be really grateful. Not for advice, just to be able to talk to someone who understands my misery. #EndOurCladdingScandal

Yes - the best bit is even though the Govt are asking building owners to pay, they're saying they're going to take the Govt to the court of human rights over it to ensure leaseholders pay - again, not an #AprilFools.

The unremitting onslaught needs action now @michaelgove. You don't negotiate with criminals. You prosecute and make them pay. You legislate the polluter pays and that means the state pays it's fair share as it's been equally culpable. Leaseholders are absolutely innocent.
