Absolutely no question about who the coordinator should be!! Joe Greene told me @sonofbum should be in the @ProFootballHOF Ken Houston should be 1st team, nice gesture but ridiculous

It was a privilege serving on the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee and representing Houston, the Oilers and Texans, but I was told I didn’t make the cut from 50 to 28, including 3 non-voting members, under the new by-laws. Among the changes, no city or team will have a representative and no more individual presentations for finalists will be made. Thank you to the Hall of Fame for having me as a small part of the process for more than 3 decades.
@HyattConcierge Hyatt House Sacramento Airport refused to let me CHANGE my reservation - one day!
30 minutes after I made it. My meeting was changed. They said this is their CANCELLATION policy. I want to CHANGE NOT CANCEL !!!

WRITTEN OUT OF HISTORY: Johnny Roland’s three-dimensional story and Dan Devine’s influence.

"Dan Devine is right at the top among the coaches breaking integration ground. Duffy Daugherty and Dan Devine were trailblazers.” -- Johnny Roland.
I find untold stories about 960s and they all back to Duffy Daugherty's leadership. Why isn't Roland's story better known? Devine's influence? Duffy's leadership? Simple. The media wrote them out of history when duped by Bear Bryant/USC-Alabama fairytale. Duffy’s story is far deeper than understood by @ESPN, @SINow @TheAthletic @TheAtlantic – and by consequence in college football lore. I’ll debate this with anybody, anytime, anywhere. The next Alabama or USC partisan talk show to invite me on to tell true stories will be the first.

Trevor Cobb won the Doak Walker Award in 1991. He caught a pass from Joe Montana in Kansas City and played with Adam Vinatieri in Amsterdam.
He says he takes the most pride in his current passion, which now fuels the Trevor Cobb Helping Hands Foundation.

New @chron:
Rice legend Trevor Cobb lived a charmed football life in the 1990s. Post-football depression, major weight gain and a stroke derailed his life decades later.
How did Cobb bounce back? He thanks a new passion: one-armed golf.

Bleach celebrates its 30th anniversary Sunday. One of the special guests is Kingwood’s Ryan “Dirk” DeLange. He attended Baylor, is Nashville based and the son-in-law of my good friend Rob Lynch. Dirk does the music on our documentaries, including the new one on Dan Pastorini.
