A raw moment this morning after receiving a devastating email from a mother whose beautiful 12 year old daughter took her life after starting 💊💊💊 She was told the drug was “the safest one.” No warning. No informed consent. Different family. Same story. Same question. “How come we didn’t know?” This is why I speak. This is why I refuse to stay silent.

This means the government lacks authority to reduce air #pollution that causes droughts, wildfires, etc., and we will be breathing invisible particles that cause #cancer and other lung damage. Where is #MAHA when we need them?

"Take the vaccine, please." — Dr. Oz But the better time to urge vaccination is before hundreds of children get sick. South Carolina's measles outbreak has hit 920 cases, surpassing the 2025 Texas record. 91% are unvaccinated—mostly children ages 5-11.

Medical storytelling is one of the most compelling ways to share important healthcare information. It's also a crucial way to empower people who have been affected by health issues or lost loved ones due to dangerous blood clots. If you or someone you know has been affected by blood clots connected to hormonal birth control, pregnancy, or hormone therapy we would welcome the opportunity to share your story. Please help us raise awareness. Type the following link into your web browser to submit your story to share on our website, across our social media channels, and in the upcoming issue of our Women's Health & Clotting Quarterly: bit.ly/mystorymyvoice26

The Pentagon is threatening to pull support from the Scouts, such as medical support for the annual National Jamboree, because the organization has allowed girls. Co-ed environments aren't "woke"—they are essential for children's healthy development and friendships.

Tanning beds are NOT just "intense sunlight." A new study says tanning beds not only increase melanoma risks but also cause “a spike in DNA mutations within skin cells.”

New research from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center shows that obesity and estrogen-based medications can combine to significantly increase blood clot risk in premenopausal women. Published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation, the study explains how this interaction lowers levels of Protein S, a natural anticoagulant that helps prevent dangerous clots — with important implications for cancer care as well. Read the study and consider discussing these findings with your healthcare provider: buff.ly/Q6TT84B

💊 Antidepressants are prescribed at historic levels: yet doctors lack proven, safe guidance for stopping them and are taught to taper too quickly. The result: withdrawal injury, medical crises, and preventable deaths. Medical guidance should not cause harm. #ssriwithdrawal #mentalhealth #antidepressants

Labels can be dangerous, especially for children. They can shape identity, expectations, and a lifetime of medicalization. Words matter. Speak life, not limitations. Children often grow into the stories we tell about them. When we label them as broken, they start to believe it.
Labels, labels, labels and more labels have been and continue to be part of a psychiatric marketing campaign which is turning people into patients for life. The campaign is closely followed by prescribed psychiatric drugs, more psychiatric drugs, more psychiatric drugs and even more psychiatric drugs which have been and continue to represent a profit-driven, unholy alliance with pharmaceutical companies. The labels, generally referred to as "disorders," are subjective opinions which unscientifically categorise a person's behaviour and emotions. The labels are voted into existence, yes, voted into existence, and included in controversial publications like the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Labels can also be voted out of the DSM but psychiatrists are reluctant to do this as they form a key part of the psychiatric business model. When they do concede and a label is removed, it's not because the label is damaging to a patient. It's because it's damaging to psychiatry. As always, psychiatrists think of themselves first. The patient comes second. #DSM #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #MentalHealthAwareness #psychiatry #psychiatrist
