Two years ago, a distraught mother and her daughter came to us and wanted justice. Some powerful figures had used their oppressive hand to bury justice and we fought together. We fought until that case got to the court. One afternoon, that woman called me on the phone and asked what do I want as a gift. I told her I wanted nothing except for her to "just pray for me. This and that are what you should pray for." At that time, I didn't think there was any God out there who cared about humanity, much less me. But I had faith that her words would mean something in the realm of the spirit. That "little" prayer the mother prayed did something. The two requests I made were granted. Within six months, the problem I had dissolved right before my very eyes. The cry of the oppressed is potent. It can fight for you or against you.

What you don't know, you don't miss. We had mad fun without spending so much.
How did we survive boredom in the pre-internet, pre-social media era?

NNPC delegation meets Borno Governor on Chad Basin Exploration, Maiduguri Power Supply and New Solar Farm The Chairman of NNPC Limited’s board, Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida, led a delegation to the Executive Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, at Government House, Maiduguri, on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, to discuss resumption of Chad Basin exploration, the Maiduguri Emergency Power Project (MEPP) and a proposed solar farm Kida thanked the Governor and the people of Borno State for their support, including the allocation of land for the solar farm and the State Government’s role in securing Federal Government intervention for gas supply to MEPP. He reaffirmed NNPC Limited’s commitment to completing ongoing projects in the state, assuring the Governor of bringing the MEPP combined cycle plant on stream to deliver 50 megawatts of electricity to Maiduguri. He also disclosed that the company recorded a profit after tax of N7.2 trillion in 2025, up from N5.4 trillion in 2024. On upstream activities, the Executive Vice President, Upstream, Udy Ntia, expressed optimism about the resumption of seismic data acquisition at the Wadi-1 site by NNPC Energy Services Limited (ENSERV). The exercise, suspended in April 2025 due to security threats, is expected to resume once adequate security assurances are in place. Responding, Governor Zulum assured NNPC Limited of the State Government’s adequate security support for the resumption of exploration activities in the basin. He proposed that maintenance of the exploration equipment be undertaken locally to allow operations to resume, waived the statutory land charges for the solar farm, and urged NNPC to consider extending the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline from Kano to Maiduguri. Also on the delegation were the Executive Vice President, Gas, Power and New Energy, Olalekan Ogunleye, and the Managing Director, NNPC Energy Services Limited (NNPC ENSERV), Sotonye Pinnick. #EnergyForToday #EnergyForTomorrow

May we not be unequally yoked with morons and dimwits to the point of making outlandish promises when it is obvious you can't meet such demands. Why not make it $1 = #1? #Yeyenatu @TemidayoOlawole @thalynxis @OLABIM2533691 @Afomyde009 a fi gba ti wọn sọ prof di Akuri
We are convinced that targeting a strategic appreciation of the exchange rate by reasonably strengthening it from ₦1,350/$ to ₦500/$ as part of our manifesto is a winning strategy It offers a direct, multi-faceted approach to curbing inflation, reducing poverty, and lowering the cost of living When paired with our core manifesto commitments—such as major infrastructure improvements in security, electricity, and the road network, alongside structural reforms to boost market competitiveness—we can reasonably project a dramatic drop in staple commodity prices: • Sliced Bread (Loaf): ₦1,750 → ₦800 • Imported Rice (50kg bag): ₦55,000 → ₦27,500 • Yam (Medium tuber): ₦2,400 → ₦1,200 • Maize (50kg bag): ₦75,000 → ₦37,500 • Plantain (Bunch): ₦2,500 → ₦1,250 • Whole Chicken: ₦7,000 → ₦3,500 • Eggs (Dozen): ₦2,300 → ₦1,150 • Garri (Painter): ₦1,300 → ₦650 • Petrol (Per litre): ₦1,350/$1 → ₦500/$1 • Cement (50kg bag): ₦13,500/$10 → ₦2,000/$4 It clearly demonstrates our concrete plan to uplift the 140 million Nigerians currently experiencing multi-dimensional poverty

My grandpa buried my grandma in the house, I was 2years old when she died. Till I was 20years old, papa goes there with his chair and sit with her then gist her of what happened that day. He can sit from 5pm to 10pm everyday. I understand her like mad.

This is their plan to move Nigeria from production to consumption by using our foreign reserves to defend Naira again just to pretend that things have improved 😆🤣 Peter Obi if he ever becomes president will be the biggest disaster in the history of Nigeria

Most of you guys need to educate yourself and learn how students loan work all over the world. For example, in the US, students are currently applying for 2027-2028 student loan (FAFSA). You apply for student loan before the commencement of the every session. Haba!

There was no ambiguity in your earlier statement. It's just satanic children who play politics with everything showing their lack of comprehension.
I am the President of the University of Ilorin Students’ Union and following comments that have trailed our communication to our colleagues, I deem it fit to make this clarification. Firstly, University of Ilorin has continually benefited wholly from NELFUND since inception. 1/x

Seyi Makinde, what are you doing with Oyo state's money? Who deceived you that you can become Nigeria's president? Anyway, your EFCC incarceration will be longer than El-Rufai's own. Múrasi!
We are currently in Enugu for the Allied Peoples' Movement South East Town Hall Meeting. Last night, we met with APM candidates in the SE to discuss the challenges they are facing and our Reset Agenda.

I saw a video of Davido with my younger cousin, Mujeeb, on his business page yesterday. He bought the new iPhone Duo from Mujeeb. So I wondered how someone like him, a global superstar, making the purchase himself rather than having it sent over. Glad he took his time making videos and taking a few pictures with the young man, which could convert into further patronage for the business (or maybe not but it'll give the business some clout). I've also wondered how much it'll cost if Davido was asked to show his appearance for that brand. Takes me back to what someone said about him sometimes ago regarding how accessible he is to people. I'm also very happy for Mujeeb. We lost my aunt (his mum) when he was young and I wouldn't say his dad was the best one. So, he grew up in our hands. This young man is so hardworking and tenacious, he refuses to give up and has continued to push himself, beyond limits to become someone of repute. I genuinely hope his business hits new heights, more than it has, going forward. Anyways, if you're like @egi_nupe who wants to buy the new iPhone Duo or any gadget at all, phones and laptops, kindly patronise my younger brother. He's on Instagram as Hemjay Gadgets or contact him on 07081867187.
