🚨Funding challenges put Northern Ireland’s target to end new #HIV transmissions by 2030 at risk & highlight essential role of voluntary sector services.
That’s the finding of HIV Outcomes UK & @PositiveLife_NI new report, launched in Stormont for #SexualHealthWeekNI2026.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at Stormont for the launch of our N.I HIV briefing report.
Without sustained funding, expanded testing and action to tackle stigma, the 2030 goal to end new HIV transmissions is at risk.
Thanks to @DannyDonnelly1 for sponsoring Room 115

NI’s only charity supporting people living with HIV @PositiveLife_NI has said that there were 101 new diagnosis of HIV in 2024. There are now 1,439 people living with HIV in NI. This is a worrying trend amid a plan to eliminate new HIV transmissions by 2030.
