The election was called for Dec12 hampering efforts to register these voters as the normal annual canvass (house enquiry forms) on Dec 1st was disrupted. Is this why Labours vote dropped 3m?

Whats the point of spending all that effort to register students when they're just removed from the polling station list &then you make no effort to investigate why

.@lb_southwark @ElectoralCommUK @Southwark_News have you informed the electoral commission that there was a problem with your software and people were INCORRECTLY crossed out from the polling station register for registering late (even though they registered months before)
.@BarnetCouncil is there a reason that this ladys proxy vote was not on the list at the polling station but was on the latest list held by the electoral officer? was there a delay in updating the polling list?

My son organised a proxy vote which I was going to do for him. He had an email confirming this but when I went to the polling station they didn’t know anything about it. Luckily my parents picked him up from college and brought him back, a 300 mile round trip, so he could vote.
De Registered by the council because their was a forsale sign up outside. Electoral officers can only de register if they have 2 independent sources that say someone is not living there any more. A for sale sign is not one of them. Grrrr

That was very impressive. It makes you wonder giving the lengths people will go to, to make sure their vote counted in the GE2019 that turnout was lower.
UPDATE: I have miraculously found someone to take my postal vote to the UK and arranged a bike the other side. THIS is why I still have some love in my heart for social media, especially Twitter (my personal fave)! TY for all who RT’d and oh, #VoteLabourDecember12th!!!
When police stations have been contacted to report a fraud, the stations say they have no idea what this SPOC is. Its NOT WORKING

There were so many phantom postal votes flying around in the #GE2019
Please email your local electoral officer and ask for a copy of this phantom postal vote application and phantom returned statement. This is the only way we can prove fraud happened.

I too got my postal vote after the date that it should be sent back, making it void on receipt. Luckily I walked to the polling station and voted in person but how many others were affected.We need a proper inquiry into what really happened to PVs

How does this happen? Did someone really impersonate someone else to use their vote? Maybe the polling staff mistakenly crossed out the name. Either way it was their duty to provide an emergency vote. This is a dereliction of duty

Only explanation i can think of is that the outsourced private companies in charge of sending postal ballots out, have been giving out free proxy votes.
