Taking a break reading the solana:BTZK1B3pCoBDD1vy5e4bDBM4bwvvhkKUMTuKABkGWwGp S-1 roughly ≈40 pages in.
So far I'm pretty bullish from what I've read. Of course an S-1 is a document that tries to sell the company to investors so keeping that in mind.
Waiting to see about the valuation.
People will slowly realize that the best platform to be on for finance is @Substack . Long form content that can be verified as human or AI due to their @pangram integration which was a fantastic move.
I might add, Substack declined an acquisition offer from Mr Musk.
I've always defended X as the only platform to be on for financial discourse.
But it's getting harder to when the owner constantly amplifies narratives of collapse… of companies whose interests conflict with his own at $SPCX or $TSLA.
Would people be comfortable if $NVDA Jensen Huang owned $META?
And then the timelines were dominated by his amplified narratives of $AVGO failing?
I can't see how that would be healthy for grassroots discussion.
Im currently roughly 23/335 pages in so long way to go but a few things have stood out to me so far reading the S-1.
1. 900% Net retention rate. That’s a number that blows my mind.
2. Usage is getting cheaper, revenue is going up. That sounds like a recipe for success.
3. $112 billion in cash and cash equivalents. So much for a broke company.
4. $6.6 million in TTM revenue per employee. 3x $GOOG and $META. 12x $AMZN
