#sapsGP [OPERATION SHANELA II SECURES 356 ARRESTS IN TSHWANE]
#SAPS in the Tshwane District executed #SaferFestiveSeason #OperationShanela II, which resulted in the arrest of 356 suspects in the Mamelodi and Boschkop policing precinct.
The multidisciplinary operation was conducted on Saturday, 31/10, as part of efforts to apprehend wanted suspects, address serious and violent crime, curb illegal immigration, disrupt drug-related activities and ensure compliance at liquor establishments. The operation also targeted other criminal activities contributing to lawlessness in the identified areas.
Tshwane District detectives commenced with the operation and conducted targeted #TracingOps from Friday evening to locate and apprehend suspects wanted in connection with various criminal offences. These efforts resulted in the arrest of 254 #wanted suspects, including three suspects wanted for murder, six for attempted murder, 33 for assault GBH, Five for rape and 91 for GBV-related offences.
As part of efforts to address immigration-related offences, 29 undocumented foreign nationals were detained during the operation and handed over to immigration officials for further processing.
Law enforcement teams conducted compliance inspections at liquor outlets within the identified policing precincts. A total of 13 establishments were inspected, resulting in the closure and issuing of fines to 4 of the outlets for non-compliance with the Liquor Act. A total of 351 410 ml of alcohol and a gambling machine was confiscated during the inspections.
Visible policing operations were conducted concurrently through roadblocks, stop-and-search operations and patrols in identified crime hotspots. These interventions resulted in the arrest of 6 motorists for driving under the influence of alcohol. Police searched 420 people and 69 vehicles. Furthermore, 11 people were arrested for drinking in public with 1 person being arrested for possession of drugs when a ziplock bag containing a mandrax tablet was found in his possession.

SEBOKENG POLICE INVESTIGATE KIDNAPPING OF A 20-YEAR-OLD MALE
Sebokeng police are investigating a case of kidnapping following the disappearance of 20-year-old Tiisetso Shabalala in Boiketlong.
According to his mother, on 17 June 2026, a person approached her and reported that Tiisetso had allegedly been assaulted by a mob on the morning of 16 June 2026.
The group reportedly accused him of stealing a cellphone belonging to one of the construction workers at the Boiketlong construction site.
His mother subsequently went to his place of residence to look for him but found the shack locked.
Neighbours were unable to provide any information about his whereabouts.
During her search, a passer-by alleged that Tiisetso had been seen being forced into a white Suzuki bakkie on 16 June 2026.
The vehicle's registration number is known to the police. One of the alleged passengers is also reportedly known and can be identified.
After her unsuccessful efforts to locate her son, his mother reported him missing at Sebokeng SAPS on 17 June 2026.
The clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance remains unknown.
Sebokeng SAPS appeals to anyone who may have information that could assist in locating Tiisetso or identifying those involved to come forward.
The Station Commander, Brigadier Thembekile Kubone, urges community members to report missing persons and suspected kidnappings to the police immediately.
There is no prescribed waiting period before a missing person can be reported.
Every second counts, and prompt reporting may assist the police in their investigations and efforts to locate missing persons.
Anyone with information about Tiisetso's whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Setlhathole, on 082 411 6641. Information can also be reported to Sebokeng SAPS on 082 498 9563 or 016 466 2047.
Alternatively, members of the public can contact the police on CrimeStop on 08600 10111, or report information via the MySAPSApp.

The only mayor I know who switches of lights if you don’t pay your bills without carrying what entity of state you are,she’s always on the ground with the people, she doesn’t tolerate lawlessness, illegal foreigners , illegal infrastructure’s are destroyed.
