In 1949 the man who invented lobotomy won a Nobel Prize.
We didn't stay out of people's heads because we were ethical. We stayed out because the skull had walls.
With AI the wall is software. You don't need an ice pick. You need the training loop.

Nothing says "I don't understand AI" more than citing from an "early 2025 paper"

"early 2025" - obviously people citing from a 18months old paper to make their point about AI don't understand AI and its implications in the first place

Dark matter is an incredible advanced billions of years old ASI hiding in "plain sight"

This guy is amazing. posting about AI for three years but seemingly still has no idea what he is doing
Hollywood flipping openly to pro-AI (or at least recognizing they don't have a choice anyway)

90% of these people shouldn't have ever written code in the first place looking at the state of current CVEs

In 12 months these models will plan my life better than I do. Perhaps this is already the case.
I spent 20,000 dollars in API credits having different AI models play each other at Blood on the Clocktower (a Mafia or Werewolf type social deception game).
The results were fascinating. Models have gotten much better over the course of this year at creative on-the-spot scheming and bluffing, and also at reasoning as a team to break apart these underground conspiracies.
I go through some of the most standout games these AIs played in this video. The new models are getting pretty good. If my friends pulled off some of these moves while we were playing, I’d give them a fist bump.
Fwiw, OpenAI’s newer models are much better than Anthropic’s at this game.
You can see the full benchmark at the website, and I’ve also made it so that you and your friends can play again the AIs: clocktowerbench.com
