The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

The P13 - which runs between Streatham and New Cross via Tulse Hill - is going to down to three buses an hour rather than four, meaning the P13 will only come every 20 minutes rather than every 15.
Another reduction in bus service for Tulse Hill :(

TfL want to remove the 415 bus, reducing the frequency of buses between Tulse Hill, Brixton & beyond. This is not good imo. Together with the proposal to reduce the frequency of the P13 bus, this represents a much worse service for locals.

Imagine giving 53 years to your party, then being told you can't stand because you believe in human rights.
The Tories have lost a decent man & a powerful voice for London.
Yet again, Badenoch’s Conservatives are happy to chase Reform UK and exclude tolerant, liberal Londoners

I have enormous respect for Andrew Boff. From defending Trans rights to backing fairer votes and the ECHR, he's a man of principle. A Conservative Party that can't accommodate lifelong Tories like him isn't worthy of its name. It's now just a second-rate Reform tribute act.

Some criticism of this being beneath a PM totally misses the fact that this isn’t just an everyday annoyance, the behaviour of enforcement companies is seen as emblematic of a rigged/exploitative system and is entirely the sort of cause of misery people want a govt to tackle.

1877 - This shop in Lambeth, belonging to the woman in the doorway, had just been flooded. The Thames occasionally flooded streets in this area of London, despite the building of the Albert Embankment along the south bank of the river. "We saved our piano," said Mrs Rowlett. "It’s what I prize most, next to my daughter who plays it."

Watch Reform Council Leader George Finch being called out for whataboutery on Politics Midlands after reeling off a list of other parties' past indiscretions. He is then handed his arse on a plate by the Lib Dem panellist for claiming swift action was taken against those featured in the ITV undercover documentary. His facial expressions say it all.

A reminder of how our music/age perceptions need updating -- a London council is offering a "day disco for over 55s" featuring music from 1950s, 60s and 70s
But if you're 56 years old, most of that is your parents' music, not yours.
