Went and checked Brad Keselowski's onboard to review the response time from the AMR Safety Team to Riley Herbst - There's about 50 seconds between when I see the first safety vehicles deploy from the left to when I see a safety worker run over to Riley's car. So Riley had help within one minute of deployment.
Bear in mind that I can't see if any other safety vehicles/workers came from the opposite end but I figured I should give this a second look in fairness to everyone involved.
With respect to Riley Herbst, I went and clipped the 35 team radio after his horrible impact. You can hear the immediate concern they had for Riley and they were also dissatisfied with NASCAR's response time as safety workers attended to Joey Logano's upside down car.
Riley had his left arm wrapped after the race but told USA that he was OK.

The O’Reilly Series has the best racing in NASCAR at its peak.
Simply incredible. That was a classic and I’m not sure it will be topped this weekend.
What a show!!!
That is the most insane drive I have ever seen. Ever. The amount of times I yelled “YOU CANT DO THAT!” and yet that crazy mf kept doing it. I wasn’t a fan before but I’ll be damned if I ain’t now. Insane. Thanks for the show @corey_day_ 😂🏁🫡

Three years ago, Reddick said the NextGen was moving closer to NA18D. Bell says what started off as NOAPS style racing has turned into Trucks style racing. Everyone has maximized their setup.
Is it time to look at a change for these tracks now too?

From what I was able to find in the West Series' recorded history, this is only the SIXTH TIME since 1954 that a driver has won from 23rd or worse.
P23 - 2026 - Taylor Mayhew (LVMS Bullring)
P23 - 1974 - Ray Elder (Westwood)
P23 - 1956 - Jim Reed (Gardena)
P24 - 1980 - Bobby Allison (Mesa Marin)
P26 - 1954 - Dick Rathmann (Oakland)
P29 - 1995 - Ricky Rudd (Phoenix Combo)

#ARCA... Taylor Mayhew went to Victory Lane in Friday's #KyleBuschClassic at The LVMS Bullring from a 23rd-place starting spot -- the furthest back a winner has started in a non-combination West Series event since Bobby Allison at Mesa Marin in 1980.

A total team effort for the No. 17 crew to come through the pack for Taylor Mayhew's first career ARCA Menards West Series win!

Bucs finished 2-for-17 on third down in tonight's loss to Vikings -- that's the most missed third downs in franchise history. Record had been 14, from a 2-for-16 loss to Packers in 2000 and 2-for-16 in 2006 loss to Giants.
