🔥 WARRIOR’S WARNING SERIES 🔥🛡️ BEHIND THE MASK: UNDERSTANDING NARCISSISM ⚠️ PART 5B: TRIANGULATION — COMPARISONS, SELECTIVE STORIES, RECRUITED ALLIES, AND MANUFACTURED JEALOUSY. 💥 WHEN SOMEONE MAKES YOU COMPETE FOR LOVE, APPROVAL, OR LOYALTY, ASK YOURSELF WHO BENEFITS FROM THE COMPETITION. Manipulative triangulation often begins subtly. A comparison. A whispered accusation. A private conversation. A suggestion that someone else is more valued than you. Let’s examine four important warning signs. 🚩 1. THEY CONSTANTLY COMPARE YOU TO SOMEONE ELSE. “Why can’t you be more like her?” “He understands me better than you do.” “Everyone else appreciates me.” Over time, you may begin competing for affection, approval, or recognition. You may even resent someone who never intended to compete with you. ⚔️ WARRIOR TRUTH: Healthy love doesn’t require you to defeat someone else to earn your place. 🚩 2. THEY SHARE SELECTIVE STORIES TO TURN PEOPLE AGAINST EACH OTHER. One person hears part of a conversation. Another hears a different version. Important context disappears. Suddenly, two people who once trusted each other are arguing over information neither has fully verified. Meanwhile, the person controlling the narrative may appear innocent. 💥 ALWAYS EXAMINE THE SOURCE, CONTEXT, AND EVIDENCE. 🚩 3. THEY RECRUIT ALLIES INSTEAD OF RESOLVING CONFLICT. Rather than addressing a disagreement constructively, they begin gathering supporters. Friends are contacted. Family members are involved. Social media becomes a battlefield. People are pressured to choose sides. What should have been a conversation becomes a competition for public approval. ⚔️ WARRIOR TRUTH: Accountability should be based on facts, not on who recruits the largest audience. 🚩 4. THEY USE JEALOUSY TO CREATE INSECURITY. They repeatedly praise someone else while withholding affirmation from you. They highlight another person’s attention or affection. They suggest you’re replaceable. Then, when you become upset, they accuse you of being jealous or insecure. 💥 YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO COMPETE FOR BASIC RESPECT. Remember, one uncomfortable comment doesn’t establish manipulation.
