Really wish Namibian musicians would embrace the concept of writers. Let other people write and coach you then you just sing.
Jeiyo, for example, would have made this concept even better.

AmaBhungane is deeply concerned by reports that our former colleague, South African journalist Micah Reddy, and his local fixer, Kooki Mahmoud, are missing in Djibouti.
Micah is a former amaBhungane journalist and a valued member of the investigative journalism community in South Africa and across the continent.
We join the Committee to Protect Journalists in calling on the Djiboutian authorities to urgently clarify Micah and Kookiās whereabouts and ensure their safety.
We call for their immediate safe return.

āNam saves N$2bn on health procurementā is a dangerous headline when hospitals have no medicines. This seems PR by new players linked to international suppliers. They may be benefiting while patients go without basic medicines. Real question is:who is benefiting from these deals?

DJ Zinhle doesnāt say much. Every year she just release one banger then goes back to being a business woman and a mom. Consistency.

I tried to ignore it, but this pattern of thinking keeps showing up. Why is this the default mindset for so many Namibians?
A foreigner shows up, ignores everything local, and people still cheer like, wow, what an honour to be overlooked in our own house.
Pathetic. Sies!

BREAKING : Service stations faking fuel shortages to cash in
Several service stations across Namibia are reportedly pretending not to have fuel until midnight, just to profit from the upcoming price hike. From 1 April 2026, petrol rises by N$2.50/litre and diesel by N$4.00/litre.
The Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy Modestus Amutse has issued an urgent directive: all licensed fuel wholesalers and retailers must stop deliberately withholding fuel, deliver all orders, and serve consumers fairly. Any artificial shortages will be investigated, and offenders will face punitive action.

A South African DJ comes to perform in Namibia, doesnāt play a single local track, not even a snippet. Just spins SA music, collects Nam dollars, and āļø out. No co-sign, no respect. Promoters, you are failing the culture.

Unbelievable that Peter Shalulile has NEVER won Sports Star of the year or Sportsman of the year at the Namibia Annual Sports Awards.

Despite Christine Mbomaās excellent season l still think Peter Shalulile should win Sports Star of the year.
