I think one of the aspects of Edgerunners that should be talked about more is how intelligent David was. He would not make it in an hyper-corporate environment, yes, but excelling in a place as Arasaka Academy which had a high drop-out and suicide rate goes a long way to show

I've seen "gender critical" therapists recommend socially isolating your kid if they are trans. School friends? Switch schools. And, "in extreme cases," move house. It's not kids forcing their parents to do anything. It's trans kids struggling to survive while being tortured.
