Rhode Islanders deserve answers.
According to reporting by Thy Back Door, Seth Magaziner promoted an offshore wind vessel and defended Revolution Wind while his brother held a senior position at an investment firm that partly owns the company operating that vessel.
That company’s vessel went on to transport workers at Revolution Wind.
Supporting an industry is one thing, supporting your brother is another.
Voters deserve transparency.
Seth, did you disclose this connection? What steps did you take to address the potential conflict of interest?
Rhode Islanders are not better off since you started in Congress, they are struggling with high electric bills, higher housing costs, less jobs and diminishing opportunities. But you and your family have benefited greatly from your position.
This seat was meant to represent the people of Rhode Island, not you and your family’s interests.
I will truly represent you. I will stand up for you and I will work and casts votes and achieve your interests, not the Washington elite.
My priority is affordable, reliable energy and accountability to the people I serve.

Remember- every dollar Seth and RI energy squeeze from you is a dollar you can’t spend on your kids, your health or your happiness.
You can’t buy sports training for your kid, Invisalign to fix their teeth, that trip you all wanted to take, the dinner you wanted to go eat, the lessons for your kids, tutoring, the purse you really want and any other thing you can’t have because Sethy boy wants to take your money from the energy company.

The leadership at the RI Board of Elections doesn't like oversight.
This morning, following up on a conversation I had last week, I asked were the ballots that were going through the signature verification process came from. The curt answer came, "I don't know." Quite frankly, she could have added, " If I knew I wouldn't tell you." I was insulted by the behavior and comments of this employee.
I was concerned because it was 9:00AM. These ballots could not have come from drop boxes opened, counted and signed off on by the municipal Board of Canvassers.
The question becomes- when did they arrive? Where were they stored? How does the BOE handle those ballots to ensure they are not tampered with over the weekend? Are they left in the trunks of cars? Or placed in a vault? A locked room? Who is responsible to guarantee that they have not been accessed and touched over the weekend? Is there a paper trail to verify the integrity of the process?
I'll attempt to run down answers to those questions. And others. Like - Why is the public blocked from viewing the 2nd passthrough of the rejected ballots? And the third? Why is the public blocked from watching when the ballots are delivered to the BOE? Why are we blocked from so many of the parts of the ballot handling process?
And why when I asked, was I treated so rudely? Are Board of Elections personnel threatened by openness, scrutiny and oversight?
Our elections determine who makes the decisions affecting our cost of living and our quality of life. It is important to know that the ballot process is fair and honest!

He is an ILLEGAL ALIEN from Mali with a final order of removal from a judge, who said he’s homosexual in order to dodge deportation - despite having a wife and two kids at home.
Wonder why @60Minutes didn’t ask him about that.
A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him.
Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. He was then sent to his home country, despite a determination by a U.S. immigration court judge that he could not be deported there due to likely persecution. cbsn.ws/3Ude66r
