Lindsey Graham’s passing sparked conversation and controversy on *how* to talk about the departed in public. I had some thoughts that may spark some…disagreement.

The reality is this completely devalues Starlink.
If one man can arbitrarily shut off your Internet, it's less dependable than your already hit or miss Internet connection.

Elon Musk claims that Ukraine allegedly violated Starlink's terms of use and used the system on combat drones.
As someone who was inside the process at the Ministry of Defense, I can say with certainty that this is not true.
In February of this year, whitelists were introduced. Stationary terminals could be registered by both military personnel and civilians.
But for any satellite terminal to work while on the move, it had to be added to a special list and connected to the military Starshield system. Otherwise, no satellite communication terminals in Ukraine would work.
In other words, using civilian Starlink for drone missions was technically impossible. All drone missions that required satellite communication could only be carried out using Starshield.
We are very grateful to the United States and SpaceX for access to critically important satellite communications. Ukraine did not violate the terms of use.

Elon has a problem here. He now claims Ukraine violated Starlink’s terms of service, and, implicitly, Elon throttled their Starlink connection. But several days ago, I thought Elon said he didn’t throttle Ukraine’s Starlink. He said only the president has the ability to do that. So this clearly wasn’t the reason that Ukraine was throttled 10 days ago, or Elon would have said so then. In fact, Elon appeared to deny all responsibility. So what was Elon’s reason? I guess my point is, he appeared to not be telling the full story then, so why should we believe him now?

Congress 100% absolutely has to investigate this.
Elon has given them a legitimate, 100% casus belli.
Democrats couldn't be trusted with this power surely, but now Elon has opened the door himself.

It sometimes feels like Trump is just testing how far he can go without losing his cult-like speech audiences.
Breaking every promise, empty gibberish, lies, cheering higher prices, open bigotry, sexualizing other men, even openly taunting their loyalty - the seals still clap.

Trump’s gonna make Murkowski go full Jim Jeffords.
Well, it would appear Trump doesn’t plan on needing @lisamurkowski’s vote for anything or anyone for the remainder of his term in office:
“Lisa Murkowski is a DISGRACE to Alaska and our Country.”

Much of what's wrong with this presidency flows from the fact that Trump views himself as the leader of a faction, not the head of state. Threatening to stop doing good things for Americans in a state if it votes for a Dem reflects that fundamental constitutional failing. – at Brookmont, MD
Trump: "Lisa Murkowski is a DISGRACE to Alaska and our Country. You just don’t get any worse! I hope the Great People of Alaska understand what is happening. The Democrats are trying to steal this important Republican Seat and, if that happens, everything we’ve done for Alaska will come to an immediate hault."

Outstanding. Note, this is FOX News National Security reporter adding context to tweet from The New York Times White House reporter sharing incredible report by Financial Times. That’s how a free and plural press thrives on here, amplifying the facts and truth independently. 1/2

I give up. The bots just won't stop. It's insane. I'm just a guy expressing opinions on this hellsite. I'm a nobody. Why am I getting over 700 replies, most of them insults. I can't use Notifications to respond to actual people; the bots have swamped my Mentions and rendered them unusable.
I have changed who can reply to my Starlink/StarShield posts to people who I already follow. This sucks. Why are people this way. This hellsite sucks. Why am I still paying $11 per month for the stupid blue check that I use solely for the ability to edit posts.

This is actually a condescending view of working-class people. I grew up in a working-class immigrant family and we ate at Red Lobster and The Cheesecake Factory for "fancy nights out." But even we understood that the White House should not look like the inside of a Red Lobster. Working-class people are not culturally illiterate just because their experiences are shaped by their limited means.

Honestly, the biggest criticism is that Obama represents a sort of cringe Millennial optimism that just doesn’t exist anymore. Like Hamilton. And the Daily Show. I don’t know that he’s a great closing argument for a blue collar state in an economic downturn.
Makes speeches for 500k a pop. Hasn’t eaten dinner that costs less than $250 in years. Has never been in a Cheesecake Factory. Undefeated at condescending to regular folks. Will always be known for a presidency that ushered in the Trump era to begin with.

I knew it! So many bad and weird calls. Sus.
We had the "shot clock" violation that grazed the rim (as noted on air) and that wiped a sure 2 points from KAT.
The KAT "offensive foul" where he was apparently guilty of standing in Tatum's way on a closeout.
The bizarre subtraction of a point from the first half. I mean, that's quite a deep dive for ways to screw the Knicks, even if refs should have caught it right away.
Then, there was this obvious side out for the Knicks taken away.
And this is a game that came down to a few possessions.
Knicks are champions and they still have to put up with this hostile officiating. You just know gambling has to be a factor in all of this.

Well, it’s worse than that. Trump’s idiotic tariffs and trade wars have made many things more expensive. And his massive trillion dollar deficits have contributed to higher interest rates. Both are deliberate policy choices.
CBS News polling shows 75% of voters feel the Trump administration hasn't put enough focus on lowering prices – one factor driving Democratic leads in some competitive Senate races. Traders on Kalshi, our prediction market sponsor, have Democrats as favorites to win the Senate.

In retrospect it was a massive blunder for these billionaires to be doing media appearances and trying to be influencers. Now we don’t have to use vague words like “the 1%”, we can just say their names
