BREAKING:
Flávio Bolsonaro is refusing to concede Brazil's presidential election and says he will seek to have the election annulled after losing to President Lula.
He's citing a Supreme Court justice's last-minute two-hour voting extension — which his own campaign had also requested.
Brazil's electoral court has officially declared Lula the winner, with approximately 51.8% of the vote to Bolsonaro's 48.2%.

Seems like Simon & Shuster’s not exactly quaking in their boots from the threats made by Jared’s lawyers
New: Amid legal threats from Jared Kushner over explosive allegations published in a Vanity Fair excerpt, Simon & Schuster quietly expedited the release of Matthew Cole’s Princes and Thieves, with the book now available for purchase two days early

That’s why on November 3rd Mississippi is going to double down on picking another Senator. #MississippiMatters
Oh boy, on the eve of Trump’s visit to Mississippi, Cindy Hyde-Smith *doubles down* on her other “proteins to choose from” comment.
“Thank goodness when mothers want to feed their families when you go out shopping, there are proteins, you want to feed meat, there are some cheaper prices. And that’s what that statement was about.”

A Texas Democrat from the Austin area wins a hotly contested statewide primary, then runs in an open seat race against a deeply flawed Republican millionaire opponent who runs one of the worst campaigns in modern history.
The race becomes extraordinarily negative, and sets national records for spending.
The Democrat wins by 2.5 points. Texas flips blue.
The year is 1990.

This is so achingly obvious, it should be a litmus test for the midterms:
Who doesn’t see this as a serious national security liability, and how much did Elon contribute to your campaign?
After Elon Musk posted on X saying he had throttled Ukraine’s use of Starlink after it was used for offensive attacks, House Armed Services Committee member Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) says the billionaire’s ability to wield that power is “beyond disturbing to me.”
“It cannot and should not be the case that a tech oligarch, a private citizen, who has that much control over our national security, who is unaccountable, who is unelected, with zero transparency, is making life and death decisions on the battlefield in systems that our service members and our partners and allies rely upon,” he adds.

Aaron Rodgers sat at that podium in Paris and said out loud what the corporate league office spends millions trying to sanitize.
The NFL talks endlessly about “player safety” and “expanding the global game.” But behind closed doors, owners scrapped player-friendly bye weeks, forced a brutal 17th regular-season game, and shipped franchises across oceans simply because there was another dollar to squeeze out of foreign TV markets.
While families and players navigate locked-down streets, civil tension, and grueling travel schedules, ownership sits in five-star suites counting international expansion checks.
Rodgers doesn't care about league fines anymore. He’s telling you the truth: in the modern NFL, the brand and the balance sheet come first. The humans on the field come second.

Regarding the “Cheesecake Factory” discourse — what the president’s tacky White House signage actually recalls is the signage at the Beverly Hilton. Which makes sense, because Trump is the first gay president, but he’s Merv Griffin gay, not André Leon Talley gay.

John Harbaugh was just one of many inside the Giants building who knew this game was so critical to the vision of having a special season and winning the NFC East.

Former New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R), quoted by CNN, on voters confusing him with his brother, who is running for U.S. Senate.
“Look, if people thought they were voting for me, my brother would be up by 30 points. Come on.”
