Seven point seven million. That is how many Texans voted early in this election, 40.5 percent turnout and the highest midterm early vote in modern Texas history, above the mark set in 2018, per the Secretary of State’s figures.
Greg Abbott has held this office since January 2015 and is asking for a fourth term. Under him property tax revenue in Texas is up 85 percent. The total tax burden on each Texan is up roughly 60 percent, and property taxes are the largest piece of it.
Polls open at seven this morning and close at seven tonight. The line the machine did not print is still on the ballot.
The Constitution Party of Texas endorses Jenn Mack for Governor.

The Data Center Fallacy
“It brings economic growth.”
During the construction phase. That's the part that they leave out.
And even then, those jobs are reported to not prioritize the Texans in the areas where they are being built.
We are being told that these Data Centers are a net positive when in fact they have been negative as well as environmental and health hazards.
This is a real threat to Texas. We must address it.

Two hundred eighty-one million dollars. That is what the sitting governor's campaign has spent on this race, nearly eight times the spending of the other name printed on the ballot, according to campaign finance filings.
Now follow the money. On October 21 in Richmond he promised his plan would "slash the average Texas homeowner's property taxes by $3,000." On October 29 in West El Paso he promised a fourth term would "completely eliminate" school property taxes on your homestead. He has held the office since January 2015, and under him property tax revenue in Texas is up 85 percent. The total tax burden on each Texan is up roughly 60 percent, and property taxes are the largest piece of it.
$281 million buys a lot of airtime and a lot of mail. What it has not bought is a tax bill that went down.
The Constitution Party of Texas endorses Jenn Mack for Governor. On Tuesday, the write-in line is the one line that does not answer to campaign dollars.

What a write-in candidate does give the people of Texas is a real chance for an honest vote.
A write-in vote has to be hand-counted here in Texas, unlike the party-affiliated votes that are transmitted across state lines electronically for verification and tally.
A write-in cannot be removed or changed, and your dead grandparent can't vote for me.
Those who say I'm “not on the ballot” to try to prove I'm “not a real candidate” are simply trying to fear-monger and emotionally manipulate you into compliance.
