God bless Texas. Lord, we come to You at the close of this day. The counting is done, the outcome is not what we prayed for, and You are still on the throne. Forgive us for the idolatry. Idolatry of party labels, in which we foolishly placed our trust, instead of trusting You. The ideology we served, instead of serving You. For thinking that votes are owned by these false idols or owed to anyone except You. Forgive us for our sense of entitlement. Forgive us for letting our own government steal from us and hand what it stole to our enemies, who are Your enemies. Thank You for the example and the provision You gave us of what a brave Texan looks like: the Lord-loving patriot, Jenn Mack Raphoon. Bless her, her husband and family, and help them as they continue in the work You have set before them, for Your Kingdom, to Your glory. We repent. We humbly seek Your blessings as You renew the mission in us to return Texas to You, Lord, and to return the authority of government to Your people, as we seek Your face and repent of these sins, and so many others. Lord, You gave the authority of government to the people. We allowed a political party to take it from us. We let it go a little at a time, and each time we told ourselves we were being faithful, when we were being afraid. Forgive us the tyranny we permitted. Forgive us the men we sent to lead in Your name, men who tried to lead without You. Forgive us for overlooking a government hostile to You, hostile to us, and voting for it anyway. Lord, show us plainly the enemy we must defeat: a party that now feeds our betrayers into positions of authority. Raise up parties faithful to You and to Your people, that will guard the portals of government so that the people have access to their government, and not guards who keep them out. Bless our party, Lord. Bless the Constitution Party of Texas, and bless our friends and allies who stand with us, including the Texas Conservative Party and every Texan who has stood with them. Make us a people who hold what You entrusted to us, who answer to You before any one party, and who will not rest while that authority is held by men who do not fear You. God bless Texas.
