I used to spend hours jumping between charts, news, and token pages.
Just to get a basic sense of what’s happening with a coin.
Now I’ve got CMC AI from @CoinMarketCap doing all that in one click.
Here’s how I’m using it.

If you missed $ETC Community Call #62, here's a recap of the key topics discussed.
The team explored how quantum computing could affect blockchain security, why preparing for future cryptographic challenges matters, and how hash-based signatures could play a role in post-quantum security.
Kevin shared a beginner-friendly Core-Geth installation guide to help more community members set up a node and contribute to the network.
The discussion also covered Google BigQuery, which gives the community access to ETC blockchain data for analyzing transactions, smart contracts, addresses, and network activity using SQL.
On the development side, the team discussed upcoming Core-Geth releases, the Olympia proposal, and network configuration changes, highlighting the importance of code reviews, transparent development, and community consensus.
Native stablecoins were another key topic. Issuing stablecoins directly on ETC could reduce reliance on bridges, open up more opportunities for trading and DeFi, and make institutional integration easier.
The team also explored transaction preconfirmations and their potential to make $ETC payments more practical by giving merchants an earlier indication that a transaction is expected to be included in a future block.
From quantum security to everyday payments, the call offered plenty to think about regarding Ethereum Classic's technical direction and future adoption.

ETC Community Call #62 is live.🔥
• Where ETC stands on the quantum threat to ECDSA.
• What’s planned for the next core-geth release.
• Are preconfirmations and native stablecoins a good fit for $ETC?
Reflections on #TOKEN2049, and Alex from ETCMC.

Good luck getting any volatile crypto asset adopted as a medium of exchange.
That's why the money people spend has to be a stablecoin, kept separate from the deflationary reserves behind it.
As supply expands, so do the reserves.
Replying to @TheDesertLynx
neither zec or dash are "usable" in any real sense due to incredible volatility. if a person can stomach the volatility risk then these problems mentioned are tiny by comparison
If you know how to turn a strong DeFi product into real user adoption, this could be worth a look.
@URMdollar is hiring a Growth Lead to bring Fountain to more wallets, vaults, and DeFi platforms.
A great opportunity for someone who knows how to connect product, distribution, and growth.
Check out the original post for more details ⤵️

ETC is testing a key support zone after its recent pullback.
After recovering from around $6.00 in August to nearly $9.50 in September, Ethereum Classic has retraced toward $7.00–$7.15. This is the area I’m watching to see whether buyers can build the next higher low.
Here are the levels that matter:
▫️ $7.00–$7.15: Key support
A strong reaction here could give ETC a base for its next recovery attempt.
▪️ $8.00–$8.20: First resistance to reclaim
A daily close above this range would show improving momentum.
▫️ $9.10: Next major resistance if buyers regain control.
▪️ $9.50: September’s high and the next major test for the recovery.
The structure is worth watching. $ETC has already shown that buyers can push price higher, and the current pullback is bringing the market back to a level where their response matters.
A higher low around support, followed by a move above $8.20, would strengthen the recovery setup. A daily close below $7.00 would put the $6.50 area back in focus.
For now, I’m watching two things: how ETC reacts around $7.00–$7.15 and whether buyers can reclaim $8.20.

11.4% on a stablecoin. More than double aave on @base.
How it works in 10 seconds 👇
Every money system has tried to be stable enough to spend and scarce enough to trust. Few have managed both.
Gold is scarce, but its supply can't grow. In the Great Depression, people hoarded it, money couldn't expand, and prices collapsed.
Bitcoin, digital gold, has the same limit: one asset trying to be both the money and the reserve.
URM splits the two, then connects them.
URM is the money. Its supply expands with demand.
HESTIA, Ultraround and RAGE are the reserves. HESTIA and Ultraround stay scarce, and RAGE is backed by a growing treasury.
Separate parts that feed each other. New deposits fund reserve purchases, and stronger reserves back more URM.
The proof is in the yield. Stablecoin yields today:
The Fountain: 11.4%
Aave (Base): 5.1%
Ethena sUSDe: 4.8%
Sky sUSDS: 3.8%
Aave (Ethereum): 3.8%
Paid by real borrowers. 12% target.
The new gold standard.

50,036 URM staked and 25.75 URM in yield accrued.
Fountain brings a yield-bearing use case to URM through fURM, primarily funded by interest from CDP borrowing.

Over the last 12 months, HESTIA's holders' supply fell about 40%, from roughly 410K to 242K. 52.8% of all $HESTIA ever minted is now burned.
Now with her own stablecoin & DAT:
Maple syrupUSDC: 5.2%
Ethena sUSDe: 4.9%
Aave USDC: 4.3%
Sky sUSDS: 3.7%
URM Fountain (fURM): 12%
$1.33B in 12 months.
That’s how much 15 crypto protocols spent buying back their own tokens.
1️⃣ The big spenders
$HYPE: $689M
$PUMP: $285M
$SKY: $59M
$UNI: $57M
$CAKE: $45M
=> Hyperliquid alone is more than half of all buybacks tracked. 99% of its fees go to buying HYPE.
2️⃣ The real yield leaderboard
Buyback yield = 12-month buybacks ÷ market cap.
$ORE: 72.7%
$PUMP: 13.5%
$CAKE: 6.3%
$LIT: 3.9%
$JUP: 3.9%
$HYPE: 3.8%
=> PUMP buys back 13.5% of its market cap a year. HYPE, despite spending 2.4x more, sits at 3.8%.
3️⃣ Burn vs hold
Only 5 of 15 burn what they buy: $HYPE, $PUMP, $UNI, $CAKE, $ORE.
The rest hold the tokens in treasury or route them to stakers ( $JUP, $RAY, $ASTER, $LDO, $NEAR).
=> Burned supply is permanent. Treasury supply can come back to market.
4️⃣ The sector picture
Perps & trading: $785M
Launchpads & consumer: $327M
DEXs: $122M
DeFi infra: $94M
L1s: $6M
=> Trading venues dominate because they have the cleanest fee streams to redirect.
5️⃣ The newcomers
$UNI: fee switch only went live in Dec 2025, already $57M
$NEAR: buying back with Intents revenue since Feb 2026
$ASTER: 99% of daily fees into buybacks since June
=> The list is growing. Revenue-to-holders is becoming the default expectation.
$ETC is one of the few assets where monetary scarcity and programmable utility live in the same system.
On the monetary side, ETC has a capped supply of 210.7 million and a predictable issuance model. The supply rules are clear, giving the asset a strong scarcity foundation.
On the network side, Ethereum Classic runs on Proof of Work, with miners committing real computational power to secure the chain and process transactions.
Then comes the EVM layer.
ETC supports smart contracts, tokens, DeFi, and applications across an EVM-compatible environment. That connects the asset directly to the economic activity happening on the network.
ETC plays several roles at once.
It pays for computation, powers contract interactions, supports applications, and helps secure economic activity across the chain.
That is why “Programmable Digital Gold” feels like such a fitting description.
It brings monetary scarcity and blockchain programmability together in a single asset.

Interesting
Since launch, fountain has accrued 1.08 $URM in yield, with 5,011 URM staked and a 12% target APY.
Still in beta, the fountain introduces a new way for URM holders to earn yield through fURM, powered by the fortress.
The Fountain is live.
Deposit URM and receive fURM, a savings share whose value in URM grows over time, targeting 12% APY. The yield is funded by real protocol fees.
Audited by CTDSEC and checked with multiple advanced security scanners.
Over the next 2 weeks, we're confirming everything runs smoothly. A redeploy remains possible during this period.
Once confirmed:
- The 12% bonus goes to early $URM holders who entered the Fountain
- The Uniswap v4 hook goes live, so any token can swap directly to $fURM on Uniswap

Following the recent hack, wallet security should be a priority for everyone in the $ETC community.
Scammers may exploit the situation through fake airdrops, phishing links, and fraudulent messages asking users to update or secure their wallets.
Here are four essential security practices to follow:
- Verify links before opening them.
- Check announcements through official ETC channels.
- Review transaction details carefully before signing.
- Keep your private keys and recovery phrase confidential at all times.
A single malicious link or transaction approval can compromise your wallet and put your assets at risk.
Stay cautious, verify every request, and help protect the community by sharing these security reminders.
Stay safe and keep your $ETC secure 💚

Fountain turns borrowing activity into yield for $fURM holders.
Borrowers pay stability fees when they use the URM CDP.
Those fees generate protocol revenue, which flows into Fountain and supports the yield earned by fURM holders.
The flow is simple:
- Borrowing activity generates fees
- Fees fund Fountain
- Fountain supports fURM yield
That creates a direct link between borrowing activity across $URM and the yield available through Fountain.
Fountain currently targets 12% APY, with simple mechanics and full on-chain visibility.

Inflation and taxation.
Should have bought base:0xc0df50143ea93aec63e38a6ed4e92b378079ea15
Why anyone would buy a high inflationary coin in 2026 is beyond me.
Did you not see the shit show of every single high inflation, high yield token over the last 6 years?
I saw so many people shilling this absolute shit coin NETNET all the way down -92% but apparently it's the "digital frontier".
It went to $2000, which was cool, especially for those who took profits BUT for those that didn't, this is your lesson.
Get the fuck out of high inflationary/high yield coins before they collapse.
IDGAF what tokenomics it has, if high yield/high inflation is the driving force, it's all the same shit.
It now sits at $167.
This doesn't mean it can't have a bounce but it's just not worth the risk IMO.
