Finally rewatching the Villa City game, and although the first goal is a mistake from Guehi (+ Donnarumma), the pass to Guehi from Enzo is really bad. Makes it more baffling as to why Maresca persists with him in deeper midfield, doesn’t have the technical consistency you’d like

I’ve seen him in few matches but, having that as basis, I’d say Federico Redondo is the best #6 prospect in the world. Better than Rice, Ugarte, Lavia, Tchouaméni -who I consider the current best DM itw-. He’s near to perfection. Football has found the Sergio Busquets successor

Unai Emery is undoubtedly a good coach. Like everyone he needs the right situation to excel, his just seems to be at the tier below the biggest club level. He’s great when he’s more of the outsider/underdog. Aston Villa where he fights for 6th to 3rd is a perfect match.
