Parents: U are part of your son's recruiting puzzle. Yes U!! Your job is to not be a nutjob!! Your role at his games is to support him, his teammates/coaches, and to be respectful to his opponent, their fans/coaches and the UMPIRES! Scouts/Recruiters will ask coaches about YOU!!!

Coaches: Empathy for your athletes doesn’t mean agreeing with them.
It’s about understanding them.
Empathy helps us learn the position they’re in & why their actions/words make sense to them.
The best coaches use empathy because it works.

Baseball from an offensive standpoint is becoming like golf! Instead of batting coaches who can teach players how to hit in games MLB teams are hiring SWING coaches!! There is a difference! As I have said before “having a great swing does not necessarily make you a great hitter!”

Longtoss tips,
•Relaxed & easy on the way out, arc is preferred
•Spend 5-7 min at max distance, build capacity
•Compression throws every 10-15ft on the way in, skipping it is fine
•Compression throws aim at catchers knees, reinforcing trunk out over pelvis
