$ASTS $SPCX: 🚨@AST_SpaceMobile requests STA renewal with Grain Management's 800 MHz spectrum AST SpaceMobile requests renewal of its 30-day Special Temporary Authorization (“STA”)2 to continue operations at 817-824 MHz (uplink) and 862-869 MHz (downlink) for purposes of testing, evaluating, and demonstrating the AST SpaceMobile network’s broadband supplemental coverage from space (“SCS”) capabilities with its authorized in-orbit nongeostationary orbit satellite constellation. Kinda confusing and interesting that this renewal is occurring as @SpaceX and Grain already announced their definitive agreement. Although the transaction is subject to @FCC approval and other customary closing conditions, I don't think there is much question as to whether or not the transaction will be approved. Maybe a nothingburger, but I am sharing for discussion and visibility. fccprod.servicenowservices.c…

(B3: BRST3) ("Company" or "Brisanet"), in accordance with Article 157(4) of Law No. 6,404, dated December 15, 1976, and in accordance with CVM Resolution No. 44, dated August 23, 2021, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, together with Unifique Telecomunicações S.A. and lez! Telecom, it has signed a Commercial Agreement with AST SpaceMobile to offer mobile satellite broadband services (also known as Direct-to-Device-D2D) throughout Brazil. Regional mobile operators will make available the 700 MHz band radio frequencies they hold and will be responsible for investing in the infrastructure needed to connect their mobile networks to AST SpaceMobile's satellite constellation via ground gateways. The collaboration aims to enable voice calls, broadband data, and video streaming directly on standard smartphones, without any modifications, eliminating the need for specialized equipment, software updates, or apps. By integrating satellite connectivity into its existing mobile network, the company aims to expand coverage wherever people live, work, and travel, allowing customers to stay connected even when they are out of range of terrestrial networks. The initiative reinforces the commitment of regional operators to expand connectivity throughout the country and complements the investments they are already making to expand their terrestrial networks. According to José Roberto Nogueira, founder and CEO: "The partnership with AST SpaceMobile complements our network and allows us to extend connectivity beyond the reach of our terrestrial infrastructure, offering customers access to voice and mobile broadband services in more locations using the smartphones they already own; this secures Brisanet's place in the future of connectivity." The final details of the agreement are still being negotiated, and the transaction is subject to certain conditions. The Company will keep the market informed of the transaction's progress and any new developments. Pereiro/CE, October 23, 2026 Luciana Paulo Ferreira Investor Relations Officer

rumour has it I might know a few things about IOT :) Now why do I get so excited talking about AST and IOT? D2D capabilities @AST_SpaceMobile have the potential to remove important barriers to global IoT deployment, both technical and commercial. Consider a connected product manufactured in one location and then shipped around the world. The manufacturer wants to build it once, deploy it anywhere, and manage its connectivity through a consistent commercial arrangement. Today, that can be difficult. On the commercial side, providing and billing for connectivity across more than +100 countries involves much more than issuing an invoice. Depending on the service model it can involve local entities or partners, tax and VAT obligations, regulatory compliance, and customer support. A mobile network operator can serve some markets through its own footprint and others through existing partner agreements. Now every MNO will tell you they can deliver truly Global, yet off footprint will always add costs, complexity and risks. The technical challenge follows the product itself. Imagine a tracking device attached to a shipping container. At the port of origin, it connects to a terrestrial mobile network. At sea, it needs satellite connectivity. At its destination, it may enter a warehouse where Wi-Fi is the only available connection. Supporting that journey can require multiple radios, antennas, connectivity services, and switching mechanisms. Each additional capability can increase hardware cost, power consumption, integration work, certification requirements, and ongoing maintenance. For a device expected to operate for years, the relevant measure is its TCO and the more connectivity versatility you add the less competitive the IOT enabled service will be. The potential of D2D is to simplify that architecture. If a compatible cellular device can connect to terrestrial networks where coverage exists and directly to satellites where it does not, manufacturers may be able to reduce their dependence on separate satellite hardware and multiple connectivity systems. The opportunity is therefore broader than extending coverage. It is the possibility of serving more of a product’s global journey through a common cellular technology platform and a simpler commercial relationship. For global IoT, that could mean fewer hardware variants, fewer connectivity arrangements, and a lower lifetime cost per connected device. Full IOT dd to follow once we have our next New Glenn launch ... right now just feeling to depressed.... May the $ASTS launch cadence be in our favour

Deutsche Bank upgraded $ASTS to Buy with a $93 price target calling Friday’s 10% selloff “misguided” as $SPCX moves closer to competing directly with mobile carriers. What stands out is Deutsche values AST’s Ligado spectrum rights at ~$19B against a $23B enterprise value implying rest of the business is worth just ~$4B. That leaves a ton of upside if AST secures up to $1B in Japan funding, expands its government business and benefits from carriers moving closer to AST as SpaceX becomes a direct competitor.

It was “guided” by a bunch of people who tripped over themselves as a correlation trade exploded in their face. Hindsight will reveal the folly of that price action. $ASTS

Looking at $asts stock price, you would have thought their facility got nuked or something. Let’s breakdown the space x transaction. On paper, ast lost out to space x on this grain transaction. There’s no other way of saying that and it’s a fact. Kudos to space x- they now have access to low and mid-band spectrum, so they have the ingredients to start competing directly with MNO’s now. What are the implications? Ast and space x are increasingly now approaching this connectivity problem in a completely different manner. Space x is going completely vertically integrated, direct to consumer. It is safe to assume with this transaction, MNO partnerships will be far and in between moving forward. Ast meanwhile has always been B2B, via partnerships with the MNO’s. They are becoming less and less of direct competitors via their business models. Implications for ast? As with other things, yet again this is another event that helps pull their opportunity forward. If ast were in talks with T-mobile, deutche telecom, those talks just became a much higher priority and the likelihood of a deal happening sooner just significantly went up. It was also inevitable that satellite plans would get baked into cellular plans, but now that offering is pulled forward with starlink. If you’re an MNO, you now have to offer a majority of your plans with satellite, otherwise you risk losing your customer to space x. Yet again, the intrinsic value of ast just got higher. They are now a keystone species for telecom- ast’s success will be directly correlated with customer retention for the MNO’s. Also, grain has 14mhz of low band spectrum-the MNO have 1000mhz of low& mid band spectrum combined between them. The odds are much higher now that ast will have more access to it moving foward, if mno's have any sense of self-preservation. From a fiscal standpoint, I have always trusted the company and never questioned when they raised capital. Perhaps some of the most recent raise could have been in plans for grain- instead, they are now sitting on a warchest so they can ride out the volatility until rates stabilize and macro improves. One less headache to think about. It’s always been this narrative that any news with space x causes ast to go down. Unfortunately, it still seems analyst coverage on ast still has room for improvement. It’s a Friday- if you’re an institution and you don’t really understand what the hell is going on, you have to sell first and ask questions later. You cant afford to be late or sit on sidelines- this is the Wall street way. I fully expect in the coming weeks that the market will realize that they got this wrong, much like with the echostar transaction a while ago and should result in net buying later. The risk/reward of owning ast has never been better. I’ve been an owner since 2021 so quite frankly, this is just a flesh wound-the company has been through way worse and got through the valley of death. The thesis is intact, the TAM keeps expanding, and the strategic value of ast continues to exponentially rise. If you can ride out the volatility, the stock will reward those that are able to sift out the noise

Put another way, consumer prices would've DECLINED the past two years without the tariffs. Brutal.
New from @NewYorkFed: Trump's 2025-26 tariffs contributed 2.9 percentage points to US goods price inflation, via higher prices for imports AND domestic goods. Without the tariffs, "goods prices would have fallen slightly." 😯

$ASTS | @AST_SpaceMobile | Midland | John Joyce Dan McCown, CTO & Co-Founder at NetAscendant Solutions: 《Midland doesn't just build things. It builds things that go to space. Today I attended the Texas Space Coalition's Launch and Learn event, and would you believe that the Permian Basin's next boom might be 300 miles up? The Texas Space Coalition was founded in 2024 by two 25-year Air Force veterans. Its goal is to connect industry, academia and government so that West Texas talent from UTPB, Midland College and UTEP doesn't have to move to Houston or El Segundo to work in aerospace. Sara Harris of the Midland Development Corporation walked through the West Texas Aerospace Corridor and even the plans for a vertical orbital launch site west of Midland. Then John Joyce, VP of Production at AST SpaceMobile, showed what's already being built here: 1. Next-gen BlueBird satellites with about 2,400 sq ft of surface area, orbiting at 17,000 mph 2. The first company delivering cellular broadband from space directly to ordinary phones without using native cellular capabilities 3. More than $6B raised to build the network 4. Demand for 500–700 satellites over the next 5 years, plus a major new facility (their 7th) planned near the Midland International Air & Space Port When John was asked the question "Why Midland?" He said Midland has been a hand up for AST as it grew, and he described the spirit here as "I'm not going to lose, I'm going to win." That's the wildcatter mentality. The grit that built the oil patch carries straight over to aerospace. According to John, there are opportunities here for the whole region: machining, PLC programming, maintenance engineering, logistics, security and support services. He said the support-services skill sets are some of the hardest to hire for. This is where local businesses and schools should be paying attention. Thank you to Matt Van Parys, the Texas Space Coalition and the Midland Development Corporation for bringing this group together, and to John for a candid, inspiring look at what AST SpaceMobile is building in our backyard.》
