Thanks to funding from @LewishamCouncil we'll be offering places to children on free school meals for our Summer Football Courses. Please make your pupils aware of this offer @KS1Downderry @UKS2Downderry @LauncelotPS @StAugustinesJun @RangefieldSch @Forsterparksch @HabsKnights
Thank you to all the teachers and support staff at Sandhurst Primary @sandhurstps for all your hard work. It’s been tough but you’ve all been amazing. And the sun came out just so you don’t have to endure wet play today 😂😂🥰🥳 #ThankATeacherDay

🚨ALERT: Please water new street trees!
It's HOT and Lewisham's street tree charity @STfLLondon has issued a borough-wide alert for the community to water their nearest new trees. Each new tree needs 20-30L of water every week. It's Sunday morning, go out and get watering!
We may be an urban school but our Green Team makes sure we are an oasis of beauty. Our @sandhurstps playground is a burst of colour right now thanks to these amazing volunteers. It’s so important for our pupils to have the natural world around them. And the bees love it too!

🚨 Did you know there are easy ways to raise money for the school when shopping online ??? 🚨 Here’s a thread to tell you how:
> Amazon smile (chose Parents Association Of Sandhurst School) for 0.5% of the net purchase given back to the school.
my nametags (use the school ID is 70113) for 24p given back to the school for every £1 spent,
> easyfundraising - (chose Sandalls) - the rates for donation back to the school range between 0.5%- 10%!
Brilliant work from our runners and those at Torridon. Both schools are fundraising for new playground equipment. We both have small and rather grey playgrounds and our kids would all really benefit from some upgrades. Thank you for your support.
Parents and teachers at Torridon and Sandhurst Schools took part in the Hither Half / 10k run today!
They raced around parks in Ladywell, Catford, and Hither Green to raise money for new playground equipment.

This half term @GoldsmithsSE6 will be used to help with the distribution of packed lunches for local children who rely on free school meals. Our musicians will be there throughout the week to spread some joy to families and volunteers 🎶 #lewisham #catford

This👇. Our school has it's own food bank and they're supporting 50 families each and every week. That's 50 children & families reliant on school and their local community, to eat, in and outside holiday, in modern Britain. That's not normal or right. Fund the meals.
