nat specifically referring to herself and misty as a unit after misty admits she was worried that nat wouldn't want to spend time with her of her own free will

said it before and ill say it again. very interesting how misty only really starts crossing boundaries with ben after he breaks down and hits her in the face. note the past tense in "we needed you" into present tense "I'm here for you" ...

she's such a hypocrite i love her bad. and then there's nat getting really weirded out by the idea of misty talking to men. two of the weirdest most pathetic to ever do it

the baby tai flashback scenes are honestly some of my favorites for her I think they reveal sooo much about her insecurities and fears especially re: the Wilderness. specifically the amount of religious iconography connected to her fear of death... pondering

teen!misty's eyes are often terrifyingly deranged but adult!misty channels all of that energy into being the biggest lovesick yearner this side of the canadian wilderness

sorry i just think its so crazy that these shots of misty preparing to cauterize ben's leg are specifically shot over nat's shoulder making it look like *she* is watching misty. in this moment. about bonding over secrets. shortly before she breaks the black box.

one of my favorite frames in the show ... such great foreshadowing for 3x04-3x06, misty and tai arguing about how to treat ben while nat and LL (wilderness representative) stand watch... yeah

mistyshauna love looking each other dead in the eye and saying "you're just like me. fuck you"

Are you feeling lost? Come find yourself

Misty and Travis are the only two people physically outside in the NTUA montage + Nat is the only person *looking* outside. something something sympathy for the outsider

adult Nat's intro is broken up specifically with a shot of hunt!Misty working with Hannah (disguised as Nat)

speaking of the pilot I don't think I ever posted this jackieshauna cornplate here before

"why the fuck would you stay at all" cut to Misty. foreshadowing transponder reveal next episode

character tier list or whatever. the green tiers don't mean i dislike them or even feel similarly about everyone in the category there's just nowhere better to put them

there's probably a better way to do this re: search operands (especially dealing with nicknames) but here's a rough version checking summaries. (Also checked "Charlotte" and "Vanessa" but those numbers were too small to feel relevant)

posted this on priv bc i had deactivated my main but mistyben-travlot thoughts have me thinking about it again. I want to talk about mistylot more they're very interesting for two characters who talk like four times total
