Thank you @LauraTrottMP for highlighting the abuse even non-Jewish allies receive for calling out antisemitism or standing with the Jewish community. Extremism is taking hold in our country, and children – both those being indoctrinated and the victims of their abuse – aren’t being spared. We need radical change to turn the tide. We are ready to speak to any policymaker in Parliament, devolved government or local council in the UK who wants to join the fight.
The vile comments on this post offer a snapshot of what Jewish people face daily. I’m not Jewish, but I’ve had a torrent of abuse since calling out antisemitism in schools. It’s not acceptable and these people are gross.

It is a stain on us as a society that Jewish children are frightened to go to school in Britain in 2026. I welcome Sir David Bell's review & thank those brave enough to share their experiences. Warm words will not be enough, the recommendations must be properly enforced.

A Jewish wedding was violently interrupted by a vile Jew hater! Joseph Nixon, 43, from Mullacreevie, Armagh, Northern Ireland, stormed a Jewish wedding reception at Liverpool's Adelphi Hotel. He unleashed a disgusting, intimidating antisemitic tirade on guests celebrating a family wedding. He confronted the best man about 'Palestine' & Israel, shouted ā€œyou Jewish bastardsā€ entered the reception yelling ā€œJews are murderersā€ & ā€œyou guys are killing babiesā€. The hate-filled outburst lasted around eight minutes before his arrest. Jews aren't even allowed to have family celebrations in peace. Daily events of hate in the UK. So sad...

Israel is having its election today and every adult citizen - regardless of background or ethnicity - is able to vote. In fact, out of 380 million Arab citizens in two dozen countries in the Middle East, the only ones who really get to choose their government in free and fair elections are the 2.1 million who live in the equal, diverse and multicultural democracy that is Israel. The only Arab citizens who live in a democracy are the Israeli Arab citizens of the free and open country of Israel, the only liberal democracy in the whole of the Middle East.

What Israel did in Gaza may well go down in history as the most humane and precise urban warfare environment the world has ever known—the very opposite of genocide. The entire purpose of a genocide is to push civilians into the killing zone. Think about what happened in the Holocaust, where children in line at Auschwitz were given bars of soap, where inside of the gas chambers there were fake shower heads. What was the point? It was to trick and induce civilians to get in to the killing zone so that you could kill more of them more efficiently over time. Israel has done the very opposite—warning civilians and then manning humanitarian corridors with its own soldiers, risking its own sons’ and daughters’ lives to ensure that civilians get out of the killing zone. We see two remarkable things in Gaza. First, according to preeminent urban warfare scholars like John Spencer, Richard Kemp, and Andrew Fox, Israel has the lowest militant-to-civilian kill ratio in the history of urban warfare. Genocides have extreme civilian-to-militant kill ratios. Hundred, thousand, ten thousand-to-one. That’s the point of a genocide. Here we have a militant-to-civilian kill ratio of may be two-to-one—not consistent not just with law of war violations—but much less with genocide. Second, and more importantly, all genocidal regimes get better over time at killing civilians. Again, think about the Holocaust. The Nazis started with firing squads killing 20, 30, 50 people at a time and realized that was too inefficient. Then they got these vans and filled them with exhaust pipes, and they would kill more people. And they said, ā€œWe’re never going to get to six million killing them this way.ā€ That led them to construct these massive gas chambers and crematoria—the architecture of true genocide—to kill thousands and thousands of people cheaply and efficiently a day. Israel has done the opposite. Even if you believe Hamas’ numbers, the scale of civilian death in Gaza went down over time. Israel got better and better and spent hundreds of millions of shekels learning how to become more efficient at preserving innocent Palestinians’ lives. Again, the very opposite of genocide.

šŸ’ MARCO ROSE: EVOLUTION, NOT REVOLUTION? After a difficult start, Marco Rose's Bournemouth are beginning to find their rhythm. Yesterday's impressive 3–0 victory at Old Trafford was another indication that his ideas are starting to come together. With key players returning, the underlying numbers make for encouraging reading. šŸ“Š Bournemouth's Premier League rankings: šŸ„‡ Interceptions – 1st (11.4 per game) 🄈 Possession won in the final third – 2nd (5.5 per game) šŸ„‰ Big chances created – 3rd (29) šŸ„‰ Expected goals – 3rd (14.5 xG) šŸ„‰ Expected goals conceded – 3rd best (9.3 xGA) The aggressive pressing associated with Iraola remains, but Rose appears to be adding greater defensive organisation, with a narrower, more compact shape protecting central areas. In possession, movement between the lines, purposeful forward passing and quicker combinations are becoming increasingly evident. Bournemouth are also delivering more accurate crosses (3.5 → 4.6 per game), while big chances created have risen from 2.34 to 3.63 per game. Finishing remains an area for improvement, with 21 big chances missed so far. Even yesterday, Bournemouth could comfortably have scored four or five. However, the goals are starting to flow, and with expected goals conceded also falling from 1.50 to 1.16 per game, there's encouragement at both ends of the pitch. Rose hasn't reinvented Bournemouth's approach, but after a slow start, his tactical ideas are becoming increasingly evident. The patterns of play are looking more fluid, confidence is growing and recent results suggest the squad is beginning to respond. šŸ’ #AFCB #BKFCentral #EPL

Tim Stanley has written one of the most antisemitic, hideous, despicable and ignorant articles I have read in a very long time. The case for a Jewish homeland is not, in any way, shape or form, linked to the politics or policies of Netanyahu. Jews have the moral, legal, and historical right to a Jewish homeland. What Tim wrote here is simply antisemitic in every sense of the word. No one looks at the despicable, inept leaders of the UK and says "ah, they are destroying the case for a British homeland". Britain, and Israel, exist and will continue to exist, regardless of the politics and policies of politicians. This is simply shameful and the Telegraph shouldn't have published this antisemitic drivel. You don't get to decide Israel's right to exist is questionable from the comfort of a collapsing Britain.
"When I was a boy, and memories of the Holocaust were fresh, creating a homeland for the Jews was still widely regarded as a human-rights cause" says Tim Stanley. "Now it is eclipsed in the Western imagination by the demand for Palestinian statehood, to which Israel is broadly perceived as an implacable, even cruel opponent" telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

Bournemouth’s excellence should not be overlooked in all the inevitable forensic frenzy over Manchester United’s shambles. Deserved 3-0 winners at Old Trafford. 5-0 would not have flattered them. They targeted United's weaknesses - openness in midfield, lack of belief, pace and concentration at the back. Bournemouth superior in every department to United, including off the field in recruitment and general running of a club. Bournemouth's starting XI at Old Trafford cost only Ā£169.5m. How much is the MOTM Rayan worth now? At least double the Ā£24m Bournemouth paid for him. Or James Hill, who cost them Ā£1.6m. Superb today. Or Evanilson, Bournemouth’s goal machine, the king of Brazil, the No 9 who scored one of the goals of the month, and was relentless in his pursuit of the ball and pressing United’s creaking defence. Cost Ā£31m; worth double now. At least. Or the widely-coveted Junior Kroupi returning from injury. Cost Bournemouth Ā£12m; already featured in Ā£80m headlines. Smart recruitment. Good characters as well as good characters. Good performances throughout. Again. Four wins on the spin, four clean sheets in a row, 11 goals scored. Players fitting into Marco Rose’s tweaking of the successful system he inherited; more breaking at pace through the middle as well as wing-play. Board’s appointment of Rose looking shrewd. Well-run team, well-run club šŸ™Œ #AFCBšŸ’

I'm seeing quite a bit of comment about this, so I want to make a couple of points. I'm not owed eternal agreement from any actor who once played a character I created. The idea is as ludicrous as me checking with the boss I had when I was twenty-one for what opinions I should hold these days. Emma Watson and her co-stars have every right to embrace gender identity ideology. Such beliefs are legally protected, and I wouldn't want to see any of them threatened with loss of work, or violence, or death, because of them. However, Emma and Dan in particular have both made it clear over the last few years that they think our former professional association gives them a particular right - nay, obligation - to critique me and my views in public. Years after they finished acting in Potter, they continue to assume the role of de facto spokespeople for the world I created. When you've known people since they were ten years old it's hard to shake a certain protectiveness. Until quite recently, I hadn't managed to throw off the memory of children who needed to be gently coaxed through their dialogue in a big scary film studio. For the past few years, I've repeatedly declined invitations from journalists to comment on Emma specifically, most notably on the Witch Trials of JK Rowling. Ironically, I told the producers that I didn't want her to be hounded as the result of anything I said. The television presenter in the attached clip highlights Emma's 'all witches' speech, and in truth, that was a turning point for me, but it had a postscript that hurt far more than the speech itself. Emma asked someone to pass on a handwritten note from her to me, which contained the single sentence 'I'm so sorry for what you're going through' (she has my phone number). This was back when the death, rape and torture threats against me were at their peak, at a time when my personal security measures had had to be tightened considerably and I was constantly worried for my family's safety. Emma had just publicly poured more petrol on the flames, yet thought a one line expression of concern from her would reassure me of her fundamental sympathy and kindness. Like other people who've never experienced adult life uncushioned by wealth and fame, Emma has so little experience of real life she's ignorant of how ignorant she is. She'll never need a homeless shelter. She's never going to be placed on a mixed sex public hospital ward. I'd be astounded if she's been in a high street changing room since childhood. Her 'public bathroom' is single occupancy and comes with a security man standing guard outside the door. Has she had to strip off in a newly mixed-sex changing room at a council-run swimming pool? Is she ever likely to need a state-run rape crisis centre that refuses to guarantee an all-female service? To find herself sharing a prison cell with a male rapist who's identified into the women's prison? I wasn't a multimillionaire at fourteen. I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous. I therefore understand from my own life experience what the trashing of women's rights in which Emma has so enthusiastically participated means to women and girls without her privileges. The greatest irony here is that, had Emma not decided in her most recent interview to declare that she loves and treasures me - a change of tack I suspect she's adopted because she's noticed full-throated condemnation of me is no longer quite as fashionable as it was - I might never have been this honest. Adults can't expect to cosy up to an activist movement that regularly calls for a friend's assassination, then assert their right to the former friend's love, as though the friend was in fact their mother. Emma is rightly free to disagree with me and indeed to discuss her feelings about me in public - but I have the same right, and I've finally decided to exercise it.
ā€œI think she’s going to find that you can’t sit on the fence... The real win is when ordinary people can say these things.ā€ @DerryBanShee speaks to @joshxhowie about Emma Watson’s comments about JK Rowling. šŸ“ŗ youtu.be/r2OGEITYe2Y

Biased reporting is common but this report reveals journalistic malpractice to a new level.
This is just beyond the pale. ā€œAccusedā€??!! Here’s exactly what happened: terrorists murdered two Israeli soldiers in an ambush and the IDF swiftly neutralized the deadly threat. This reporting is so shameful (it’s done with intention), and this is not an isolated example. You must do better, @NBCNews.

Let me introduce you to a fellow named Max Naumann. In 1934, Naumann, a German Jew, urged fellow Jews to support Adolf Hitler. He defended the Nazi regime even as it persecuted Jews, and actually petitioned Hitler for the right of Jews to fly the German flag. In 1935, the Gestapo dissolved his organization and threw him in prison, where he attempted suicide. He died of cancer in 1939, before the Holocaust, but not before discovering how little his loyalty to the Nazis was worth. I'm not comparing Abdul El-Sayed to Hitler. I'm questioning the idea that a Jewish endorsement is, by itself, evidence of what's best for Jewish safety. From the Hellenizing Jewish elites of ancient Jerusalem to Jewish supporters of Iran's Islamic Revolution, we have examples throughout our history of Jews aligning themselves with political movements that ultimately turned against them. Their motivations differed, as did the consequences. But there's a lesson in Max Naumann's story that's worth remembering. Being Jewish has never made anyone immune to being catastrophically wrong about what's good for Jews. @PatinkinMandy @GadSaad
Help get @abdulelsayed elected to the senate! Jewish safety depends on a real multiracial democracy—and Abdul is the one fighting to protect it. Get involved and help at abdulforsenate.com/vote go.abdulforsenate.com We know how much it matters to live in a country where our rights are protected, where the law applies equally to everyone, and where the majority can’t just decide that some people don’t deserve the same freedoms. The safety and freedom we’ve found in America didn’t happen by accident. They exist because of democracy. And protecting democracy means protecting Jewish safety, too. We know what happens when those protections start to break down. When courts are weakened, elections are undermined, and people lose equal protection under the law, minorities are often the first to pay the price. Jews have seen this throughout our history. It’s one of the reasons so many of our families sought refuge in democratic countries. That’s why I find it so alarming to see what’s happening right now. When masked government agents are taking people off the streets and citizens are being shot in public, we should all be worried about where things are headed. As Jews, we know that when a government starts targeting certain groups of people, no one should assume they’re safe from what comes next. Mike Rogers has chosen to align himself with a movement that is willing to attack our democracy. He stood with Trump and refused to accept the results of the 2020 election. And now we’re seeing what happens when a political movement treats the rights and dignity of certain people as disposable. For Jews, these things should set off alarm bells. Jewish safety is tied to the health of our democracy. We can’t protect one without protecting the other. And in this Senate race, Abdul is the candidate who understands that and is willing to fight for it. #abdulelsayed #democracy #jewish #midterms

Mr @RupertLowe10, politics and national interests are not a one-way street. I think your patriotism has led you to overlook the part played by British government decisions in damaging relations between the two countries since the atrocities of 7 October. Before asking, ā€œWhy doesn’t Israel respect our interests?ā€, consider this record: • Resuming funding for UNRWA in July 2024, against Israel’s wishes and amid controversy over the organisation’s conduct. • Dropping the previous government’s planned challenge concerning the International Criminal Court’s jurisdiction over Israeli nationals in July 2024(The decision to issue arrest warrants was, of course, the Court’s, not the British government’s) • Suspending around 30 arms export licences in September 2024, restricting equipment that could be used in the Gaza war, although stopping short of a full arms embargo. • Suspending free trade agreement negotiations in May 2025 and imposing further sanctions on individuals and organisations associated with settlers, citing ā€œviolenceā€ against Palestinians. • Sanctioning two Israeli cabinet ministers, Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, in their personal capacities in June 2025, citing ā€œincitement to violenceā€ against Palestinian ā€œciviliansā€. • Recognising the ā€œState of Palestineā€ in September 2025, against the Israeli government’s position a move I regard as a gift to Hamas terrorists. • Announcing expanded measures against settlements in September 2026, including plans to restrict British businesses’ economic support for settlement construction, alongside an official declaration that the ā€œoccupationā€ is unlawful. In my view, these decisions have contributed to the deterioration in relations. The British government has its political and legal justifications, but it cannot expect the other side to absorb those decisions without consequences for the bilateral relationship. If reports of Netanyahu changing Israel’s position on the Falklands are accurate, that decision can certainly be criticised. But you cannot exclude the possibility that it is a response to London’s own policies. You say Britain is under no obligation to offer unconditional support. Fair enough. Neither is Israel. Why should London be free to act according to its own assessment of the national interest, while Israel is expected to sit there like a bullied child and take it? To borrow that blunt English expression: ā€œFuck around and find out.ā€ Political decisions have political consequences. I support the Falklands REMAINING British (the islands had no indigenous population: the French established a settlement in 1764, the British established a separate settlement in 1766 after claiming the islands in 1765, and Spain took over the French settlement in 1767). I also support the islanders’ right to determine their own future! (They have made their wish to remain British abundantly clear) Equally, I defend Israel’s right to exist as the national homeland of the Jewish people, its security, and equal rights for all its citizens. That does not mean the legal status of the Falklands and that of disputed territories is identical. But your principle must apply to both sides: if national interests and mutual respect are the standard, that standard cannot apply only when it suits Britain. Friendship requires reciprocity. It is not a licence for one-sided demands.
It's been reported by the Telegraph that Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered Israel to support Argentina on the Falklands over Britain. Why should Britain be expected to defend Israel's national interests if Israel's leadership refuses to respect ours? Britain is not obliged to give any foreign government unconditional political or military support. Our foreign policy should be guided by British interests, and British interests only - that is the Restore Britain position. The Falkland Islands are British, and will remain British.
