We've not helped ourselves but this ref is absolutely shite. Even without the penalty not given and then he gives a free kick and forgets to blow his whistle so has to then play on after all the Newcastle players stop, hes just done everything he can to disrupt play. Clueless.

Whg's my timeline been taken over by yanks dick swinging about baseball v cricket?!? I mean you are either desperate for attention, massively ignorant or hugely insecure to not understand BOTH games are insanely difficult at the highest level but for very different reasons.

Thank you @PositiveGrid for the update for the Reactor app. Its so much better having the classic look rather than the heavy Ai imagery that had everyone guessing what it was actually meant to be replicating. Bravo!

This. Any talk by cartel fans that they want the rules to keep it fair is disingenuous. They want them to protect their own dominance. Plain and simple.
Take out City’s cheating and the cartel wins 12 of the last 15 titles. And 2 of the remaining 3 were from Chelsea’s cheating. So what history is telling us is to beat the cartel you either have to break the rules or pull off a 5000/1 miracle. But apparently the rules are fair 🤣

The one thing I don't understand about our personnel and how we are setting out to play at #NUFC is if you buy pace, then you ideally sit back so you have space to run into. If you buy creativity then you can push up to create chances in the final third. Very strange setup.

As @ToonFan85 has just said in our @ToonUnderPod group chat... this is reminiscent of PSG in the UCL for us. It also explains why we beat them 4-1 and why we've seen 4-1 defeats to Leeds and Coventry. You just need to turn the ball over and you are in an advantage immediately.
A lot being made of that 3-1-6 graphic from Saturday night but it’s not Jaissle’s 90 minute set-up, it’s an attacking tactic used successfully at times by Enrique, Nagelsmann, Arteta, Ten Hag &c. AI explanation⬇️With more cutting edge up front, goals & wins will come. KTF #NUFC🏁

If we had this summers transfer window two seasons ago, or even the previous summer then it would have been a very strong one. Unfortunately losing so much senior talent and doing what we did has left us in this hole and Wilson needs to shoulder as much blame as Jaissle.

Both Joelinton and Botman get the ball. Ref is a joke!

Wait, wasn't this what all the FFP bollocks was meant to prevent? But how is it happening? Or could it be the rules are as much of a sham as any of Man City's sponsor deals and only intended for one thing... and it certainly isn't protecting clubs from going bust!
BREAKING: Football regulators have reported that 94% of English clubs are loss-making. Sky's @RobHarris has the latest and explains the importance of the report's timing ⬇️

Jaissle needs to sit several players down and tell them their spots are safe and they need to start playing as a team rather than trying hard to force things to impress. Right now we are a team of individuals and that is a recipe for relegation... #NUFC

The two man midfield is definitely leaving us exposed while also failing to put pressure on the ball enough. I like the idea, but the execution with an inexperienced squad is not working and until the players settle and develop it's asking a lot for them to play like this.

The concern with these two heavy away defeats is how disjointed we look. We are scared going forward and very unorganised. Howe had players knowing their role, what was expected of them. This isn't a Howe post, but Jaissle needs to show more for me.

The league and a select few teams have ruined the game through pure greed and a closed shop mentality. There are plenty of ways to secure spending limits but then they wouldn't hold the advantage they do. They basically want to be able to do what City have done but City not to.
Man City haven’t ruined football. Man City haven’t ruined the premier league. Football and the Premier league has been ruined by a handful of teams who have too much say as to how the league is run. It’s been ruined by the Anti Competitive rules that have been put in place

Theyve broken rules designed to stop them being successful. Theyve still broken rules that the likes of Villa, NUFC and Everton have all had to abide by though. Im torn.
Make absolutely no mistake, these people are lobbying for City to get off lightly for one reason and one reason only. Self interest.

A new stadium capable of hosting a multitude of events is the only logical choice, but it will sting seeing the old ground go. My only concern is we aren't in London so our opportunities for large scale events is going to be more limited. Figure opportunities before building.
🗞️ It is down to two options for the stadium decision. 🆕 New 65,000 stadium built on Leazes Park, with an estimated price of £1.5Bn, with Newcastle needing to finance £500m of the funds. 🏟️Redevelop St James’ Park to a 60,000 capacity stadium which will cost a lot less at £500m. @mhardysport | #NUFC

Charged with falsifying sponsor deals to the sum of almost a billion quid... yet this guy isn't convinced they have cheated.
Even if City cheated, (still not convinced) £900m over nine years equates to buying about one or two decent players a year. (And probably not all spent on transfers anyway.) Surely the potential impact it has had on games and us winning trophies is being wildly exaggerated?
