As the strongest existence, Dan’s Screen Takes will trample upon the YouTube algorithm. Check out my 41 minute video on Re:Zero Arc 7!
No, and that’s fine. Characters aren’t real people. He just needs to be authentic enough for you to see shades of yourself in him. Fiction is about making the extraordinary feel relatable to us ordinary. If Subaru can get back up even after losing everything, then you can too
Almost done. The Arc 7 video has accidentally become my best video yet. I'm sorry to all my anime only peeps who won't be able to watch. I'll make it up to you later, I promise!
Yaoi ships tend to be the result of male characters having more on-screen chemistry (meaning more interesting dynamics) with each other than with the women they’re supposed to be romantically involved with. The women of RZ don’t have the best on-screen chemistry with each other
there’s a lot of good yaoi ships for rezero but where is the yuri. i have yet to see a single yuri ship. WHERE THEY AT BRUH #EQUALITY
I know many will disagree with me on this, but if you have a hard time with Re:Zero's humor, I'd recommend giving the dub a try, at least scenes with some of the jokes you felt were clunky in the subs. They're often restructured to sound less awkward, which can make a difference
I never said side stories don’t have any value. I said, like Chainsaw Man, Re:Zero - The Movie™ would need the main character and main conceit of the series that makes it unique and gives it mass appeal. I promise you this is not a controversial thing to say outside of rztwt
For everyone outside the diehard fandom bubble, Re:Zero is about Subaru dying over and over again. That's what's cool about Re:Zero. I've read some of the EXs and they don't have the sauce. Imagine if the Reze movie didn't have the main character, the titular Chainsaw Man, in it!

Either a film adaptation or game adaptation of the Wilhelm side stories would bring audiences though. It literally covers the parts of the lore that people have complained about "needing" for future seasons of the anime. Re:Zero doesn't rely on Subaru to be an entertaining story.
The premise of “guy from earth has to escape a deathloop in a fantasy world” is awesome. That is extremely accessible to audiences. It hooked someone like me, who has no interest in the isekai genre otherwise. Problem is that there isn’t really an ideal arc to adapt to film
Vol 31 is the best, but is at an awkward place in Arc 7. IF stories are not good representations of what Re:Zero is at all. What would they even do, a non canon original story created specifically for film? That would be far less exciting
Please, DO NOT read side stories before starting Arc 7. I don’t care what anyone says. Go in blind. Experience the magic of early Re:Zero again where you and Subaru know nothing about the world and the characters’ intentions, uncovering the truth over time. That’s the fun!

We need more *real* anime-only content creators, not this "here's all of the cut content and the actual story of the series, and not this watered-down anime version you like!" shit we have now
Give me creators willing to treat the anime as its own separate piece of art
Long shot but maybe someone here can help me. There was a Breaking Bad parody in Lost in Memories where Otto and Subaru make mayo. I watched a translated version of it on YouTube and I can’t find it again. Does anyone know where it is?! I was hoping to use it in a video
