Did you know there's a prayer called the "I DON'T KNOW" PRAYER?
You just go somewhere quiet(before the Blessed Sacrament for me),
and you sit at the feet of God and say;
" I don't know".
I don't know where to go from here.
I don't know what's happening. I don't know how to process this. I don't know what to do with the emotions . I don't know how to handle the situations.
And then with whatever little grain of faith you have,you say,

Cook County State’s Attorney Eileen O’Neill Burke just told the Supreme Court that governments can ban AR-15s as “exceptionally dangerous,” and that anyone who wants one can leave or get it somewhere else.
Chicago police recovered more than 12,000 guns in 2023, 12,733 in 2024, and 11,408 in 2025. Most are still handguns, and a growing number are pistols fitted with switches.
The AR-15s owned by law-abiding residents are not driving the shootings.
The Cook County ban has been in place since the early ’90s, yet the violence has not stopped.
Lock up the people pulling the trigger.
The rest is just theater.

It took 26 hours of minimum-wage labor to earn an ounce of gold.
In 2025, the federal minimum wage was $7.25. Gold averaged $3,432 per ounce.
It took 473 hours of labor to earn that same ounce.
Your hourly wage increased 4.5× in dollars.
The amount of labor required to acquire gold increased 18.5×.
Measured in gold, the federal minimum wage lost approximately 95% of its value.
Fifty-four years of nominal wage increases, and one hour of work buys a fraction of the monetary asset it once did.

Benny Melendez, the owner of a small construction company in South Texas, says he’s been forced to install fencing at job sites to protect his workers from ICE.
“It’s embarrassing for the land of the free, to have to do this,” Melendez told @camiloreports.

Illinois keeps finding someone else to blame.
A man who says smoking caused his COPD is suing Walgreens for selling him the cigarettes. The store tried to get itself thrown out. A Cook County judge refused, citing Walgreens’ long ties to the tobacco industry.
Brandon Johnson sued Kia and Hyundai over car thefts, blaming the manufacturers’ failure to install immobilizers for the surge.
Pritzker banned assault weapons and signed a law making it easier to sue firearm makers for violence.
In Illinois, the product and the company take the heat. The person who smoked, stole the car, or pulled the trigger is basically an afterthought.
