The Ukrainian formal declaration of independence from the Soviet Union was issued on August 24, 1991. Today, Ukraine celebrates the 35th anniversary of that day as it fights for existence in the thirteenth year of Russia’s war and fifth year of that country's full-scale invasion.
In this Discourse, we highlight some recent articles from the Ukraine archive on Ukrainian adaptation, innovation, and perseverance.

Powered munitions known as one-way-attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have become common in the skies of Ukraine and the Middle East.
We added several to the OSMP this week, beginning with the Iranian-developed Shahed-131 & Shahed-136.

Eight new verified images of munitions have been added to the OSMP.
Among them are 4 images widely shared on Russian social media as evidence of Ukrainian chemical weapons, but which @Arms_Research proved are smoke munitions.
