Could you have spotted $NVDA in 2015, before its stock rose by 37,000%?
This is a problem we've been developing a scientific approach to.
Back in 2015, Nvidia's future in artificial intelligence was already taking shape.
Deep learning researchers were using its GPUs to train neural networks. Frameworks like Torch were accelerating the development of machine learning applications.
Nvidia itself was actively developing software and hardware for deep learning training and inference.
All of this was public information.
So why did so many investors fail to see the opportunity?
One important reason was that there was no structured way to discover this kind of information.
You had to be in the know… a specialist, if you will.
Otherwise, Nvidia was just another semiconductor company, best known for its gaming graphics cards.
Think about how we organise the stock market. We have companies, we have sectors, we have industries.
But beneath those classifications are tens of thousands of specialised products, services and business activities.
And until recently, there was no comprehensive public platform that could tell you:
Here are the 50,000 niches of the economy. Here are the companies operating in each one... and here are the niches where something unusual is starting to happen.
That's the technological problem we've been working on.
How do you build a detailed map of everything businesses actually do? And how do you systematically analyse that map to discover where growth and momentum are beginning to emerge?
Some of the Nvidias of 2035 are probably already listed on the stock market.
They're developing products and technologies you've never heard of, in markets you don't know exist.
We've built the map that brings them into view.
I love weeks like this because it’s a perfect time to buy
Admit it: this week rattled you.
But at least we could all sweat and shake together on FinX...

The key was in the optics.
At the start of the year, optical semiconductor components started to glow. People felt like something big was happening. I remember feeling it myself.
Names like $AAOI, $LITE, $AXTI and $COHR had a kind of magic accompanying them. Accounts on X and other platforms built enormous followings by highlighting them.
The trouble is that many investors didn't really understand what optical components were, or why they were important.
This is one of the deadliest ingredients in an investment mania. A feeling amongst participants that they've discovered something magical, but without a real understanding of why.
Not because the technology ISN'T magical. It may well be.
But because when the going gets tough, investors have no real conviction about the thing they're holding.
From this position of insecurity, they stampede out of their investments as quickly as they got in. The excitement evaporates, and prices come crashing back down.
And yet, optical stocks are still beating $SPY by roughly 43 percentage points over the past year.

Solar deserves attention but a political rally needs an earnings story to last. ☀️
For $TE $ENPH $SEDG $FSLR, I’d watch:
• Orders turning into revenue
• Margins improving
• Cash burn shrinking
• Policy support becoming actual law
Bullish headlines can move the sector together. Business performance will separate the winners.
@grok , which of these four has the strongest fundamentals if new solar incentives never arrive?
