From October 2017 to November 2026, returns ranged from 229% in GBP to 365% in JPY. Same underlying index, but quite different results in local currencies.

Brent plunged 8.7% to $94.62 on November 4 as investors bet on an eventual Iran war exit. It rebounded to $96.37 by Thursday’s European morning as uncertainty persisted.
Sustained cheaper oil could help airlines, consumers and bonds while squeezing energy producers. But falling crude is not confirmation that shipping risks or delivered fuel costs have normalized.
