They are also baby elephants.
Speak for them?
They are getting tortured in diff temples across TN as we write.
They also miss their moms and habitat.
DO WE CARE?
Assam is trading their elephants for money and rich people and traders are earning crores!

Durga, Bijuli, Shiva, Hiralal & Rupsing must have been the same way with their moms, dreaming away, life full of happiness and safety, until they were snatched from the wild, made "captive" & sold to Tamil Nadu (🇮🇳)Temples. Shame on Madras HC!!!

An elephant is not a machine for human entertainment, a tourist ride, or a ceremonial showpiece.
This video raises disturbing questions about the way these gentle giants are captured, handled, restrained, and exploited.
Tradition is never an excuse for cruelty. Elephants deserve compassion, proper care, dignity, and freedom from abuse.
How long will we turn a blind eye? Authorities must investigate cruelty wherever it occurs and enforce animal-protection laws.
Their silence is not consent. Be their voice.

Beautiful indeed. But till when will we selectively highlight these scarce happy stories of reunions & not talk about the brutality done to 🐘? Wild 🐘are being caught & sold openly. Recently 5 baby 🐘 were snatched from their moms in Assam to be sent to lifelong captivity to TN💔

The money that Governments spaff up the wall (Coronapanic anyone), and we can’t find money to save the World’s most vital ecosystems. Shameful. But at least our crackers and toothpaste will be slightly smoother!

This is Skye. He was lured out of Kruger National Park in South Africa a few weeks ago and illegally killed by JARED WHITWORTH from Kentucky during a safari hunt. Skye’s life was worth more than the amusement of a hunter. It’s time to #BanTrophyHunting once and for all!

Animals in Borneo struggle to breath ….

Thank you so much @gupta_rekha Mam,
We too hoped, prayed & expected our CM @CMOTamilnadu to intervene & help the 5 Baby Elephants who were brought all the way from Assam (3000 Kms) to Tamil Nadu, sadly he is misinformed by his Minsiters & these 5 Babies are suffering in Chains, Iron Sticks, Knives, enslavement & in loneliness here in Tamil Nadu, feeling badly let down by our Hon @CMOTamilnadu

Expected a Corrupt Free & Zero Tolerance towards the Corrupt by the newly formed Govt by @CMOTamilnadu - but sadly a Team of so called NGO has purchased 5 baby elephants from Assam & brought to Tamil Nadu, they have even manipulated the legal paper work,
Will the Hon @actorvijay CM probe & save these baby elephants !

It’s sickening to see what greed does to people, they are destroying the rain forest and the homes of these beautiful, harmless animals, just to gain more land🤮🤮🤮 Why is there no international outcry for these poor animals and all the other animals whose’s lives got lost in the fires😖??

For green #Biofuel and Halloween candy , their rainforest home is burned..

The rest of the world should pay a rainforest tax to countries with rainforests to keep them standing.
Share if you agree. Rainforests are the entire world's responsibility to preserve.

Severe deforestation has led to all Gibbons being endangered. These incredible primates are known for their loud singing through the rainforest, but these melodies have mostly disappeared. 🌳🎶❌
Most species remain in small forest patches, with poaching also threatening. 🥲🐒

53 orangutans have now been rescued from forests devastated by fires in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, and the scale of destruction is horrifying.
More than 48,500 hectares have burned this year. Orangutans are being found starving, injured and desperately searching for food in forests that have been destroyed.
These are critically endangered animals losing the very habitat they depend on to survive. How much wildlife must suffer before protecting forests becomes a priority rather than an afterthought?

So why is that peat domes across 2m hectares of Borneo’s rainforests ablaze, at immense cost to people and animals, many endangered or vulnerable, and media aren’t carrying a word on it?
I know the absurdity of net zero has created insane incentives to replace virgin rainforest with oil palms, but wouldn’t you think this would raise some alarm, even among that twisted species of people who think that doing some of this is good for the planet?
