@SiroFromKe

I code often, but stay active cycling or running. I am critical on issues others overlook.

Wake up in your Umoja bedsitter with nothing but a dream. Where do you go first? Landlords are asking for 3 months deposit, lets build a city where you are the landlord. A tenant in your Kilimani block is 2 weeks late on rent. Do you give Grace period, Lock gate or Raise rent?

This year, I’m skipping the trip to Uganda for #DroidconUg, as much as I’m a speaker. It came a little too early, and I need time to rest after #StanChartMarathon 2026. Besides, I can’t afford the fare right now. It’s not yet the end month! 😂 So, I’ll do my session virtually.

If I tell you I had a bad day in the office today you wouldn't believe me but that is the truth 🥲. I started 15 mins late plus I was nursing a hamstring so I had manage my pace without provoking the little devil. Check out my run on Strava: strava.app.link/2DZYQThtw7b

My pal once outran a police man carrying a gun in GenZ demos 2 yr ago. He finally succumbed to peer pressure to register StanChart. Tomorrow he is doing his first half marathon. He is counting on his unruliness which used to get him suspended in high school and partly in campus.

He thinks he's gifted in running. I don't want to discourage him that God can use him (even as a bad example) if he humbles himself even before the race starts. I have told him to make sure he finishes his half marathon before I finish my full marathon.

Jumamosi asubuhi ☀️ Kenyatta Avenue iko quiet… for now. Buildings in Nairobi Life carry billboards 📢 and credits buy the space. If your billboard was up in the CBD, ingesema nini? 👇 Keep it clean, players can report a poster 😅 #NairobiLife

Tell them I also believe AI can do the interviewing and shortlisting process, please tell why there is still a human in your hiring process? Aura for aura? 🤣🤣
KendiJ💙@kendyjakyOct 23
In my job-hunt quest, I was asked "Everything you have just said and your past developments, AI can do it. What value do you really bring?" This was a mobile role. How would you people answer that?

If you went to driving school you definitely did that table model to learn the basic driving rules like parking, roundabouts and lane switching. Someone built a digital version of it modeltownboard.com

Practice the Model Town Board before exam day 🚗. Navigate roundabouts and take a timed mock exam, guided at every move. Build and share your own challenges, too! Try it: modeltownboard.com

Thank you @_mikekamau for reaching out with a replacement for my Mac’s charger. I am grateful for your assistance. Good people exist in Tech Twitter. Frame 1: my 30W usb-c adapter Frame 2: the 61W usb-c adapter from Mike. God bless you abundantly Mike Kamau for your help.
Siro From 🇰🇪@SiroFromKeOct 22
These week I haven't done much because my mac won't charge. The charger keeps heating today it reduced totally to charge. I will have to pause my work till I can get cash to get another charger. This is how it feels when stuff breaks and you are broke to replace or fix.

I think now, with everyone's minds atrophying due to excessive use of AI for coding, LeetCode makes perfect sense to keep you sharp. Do it for your brains sake
