No woman should be denied medical care or used as an instrument of political revenge.
If she is being imprisoned simply to punish Imran Khan, this is not justice. It is cruelty.

Day 48.
24 hours ago, my family raised the alarm. My mother, @DrUzma_KhanPK, has a replaced heart valve, her blood pressure is rising in Kot Lakhpat Jail, and she is not receiving treatment.
Since then, there has been no word from the jail, no word from the authorities, and no cardiologist.
My mother and my aunts, @Aleema_KhanPK and @Noreen_KhanPK, all around 70, have been held for 48 days under a detention law, without charge. Their brother, @ImranKhanPTI, is in solitary confinement with his blood pressure at 192.
The state holds them. The state is responsible for their health.
Let her see her cardiologist. Charge them or release them.

PART 3/3: IMRAN KHAN - FROM LEADER TO CIVILISATIONAL IDEA FOR THE UMMAH
The deep state in Pakistan has lost control of discourse. It controls television, but the people live on TikTok. It controls FIRs, but the people live on truth. It controls elections, but the people live on memory. Every attempt to erase Imran Khan has inscribed him deeper. This is the paradox of repression described by Hegel: the master who needs the slave to recognise him becomes the slave of recognition. The establishment needs Imran Khan to be irrelevant, yet it organises its entire existence around his relevance. It has become the prisoner of its prisoner.
This is unsolicited in the deepest sense. The deep state did not invite this problem. It manufactured it by violating the first law of power: never create a martyr who is still alive. A dead martyr can be buried. A living martyr in a cell becomes a mirror in which the entire nation sees its own captivity. Rawalakot, Muridke, 26 November, the stolen mandate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, are not isolated operations. They are the deep state performing its own funeral.
Imran Khan is no longer a politician. He has undergone what Max Weber called a reversal from office to charisma, from institution to idea. In Pakistan, he represents the refusal to bow. In the Ummah, he represents the refusal to be a client. For decades, Muslim rulers have been managers of Western interests. They speak of sovereignty in Urdu and Arabic, but they sign obedience in English. Imran Khan broke that duality. He said what every Muslim street felt: that dignity is not a luxury, that La Ilaha Illallah is not a slogan, it is a political philosophy, no god, no master, no fear except God.
For the Ummah, which has suffered a century of humiliation after the fall of the Ottoman Caliphate, the Sykes-Picot division, and endless wars for oil, Imran Khan is not a saviour. He is a reminder. A reminder that a Muslim leader can be poor in power but rich in dignity, imprisoned but not owned, alone but not defeated. Iqbal said, elevate your selfhood so high that before every destiny, God Himself asks you, tell me, what is your will. Imran Khan is the living tafsir of Iqbal. Leaders can be replaced. Ideas cannot.

PART 2/3: EUROPE IN ANOMIE, PAKISTAN IN RUIN, AND THE DEEP STATE IN ITS TERMINAL PHASE
Europe is experiencing what Emile Durkheim called anomie, a condition where norms dissolve and the individual feels detached from the collective. The youth of Paris, Berlin, London, and Madrid are not protesting one policy. They are protesting a civilisation that promised them education, employment, dignity, and peace, and delivered debt, precarity, inflation, and endless wars chosen in Washington and Tel Aviv.
Michel Foucault’s concept of biopolitics is now literal. The European state manages bodies through debt, manages minds through media, manages futures through climate guilt, while it cannot manage the price of bread. The young European has understood that he is not a citizen. He is a consumer of a system that no longer needs him. This is why Europe burns. Not because of migrants. Not because of one election. But because the European project, which began as peace after Auschwitz, has become a bureaucracy after meaning.
In Pakistan, economics is no longer economics. It is metaphysics. Inflation is not a number published by the Bureau of Statistics. It is a mother dividing one roti among three children. Unemployment is not a rate. It is a PhD holder selling tea at a stall, his degree folded in his pocket like a dead dream. Debt is not a fiscal indicator. It is a form of neo-colonial slavery where the IMF becomes the new East India Company, and the local elite becomes its comprador class.
Karl Marx argued that the economic base determines the political superstructure. In Pakistan, the base has collapsed. The rupee has lost value, the industry has lost energy, the farmer has lost water, the youth has lost hope. Yet the superstructure pretends to function: parliaments meet, ministers speak, protocols continue. This is what Jean Baudrillard called simulation. A simulation of a state governing a simulation of a people. The deep state suffers from Ibn Khaldun’s diagnosis. It once claimed to be the guardian of the nation. It has now become the guardian of its own privileges. It protects plots, not people. It protects postings, not Pakistan.

PART 1/3: THE COLLAPSE OF THE OLD ORDER - NETANYAHU, TRUMP AND THE DEATH OF LEGITIMACY
The world is not facing separate crises. It is facing one meta-crisis: the collapse of legitimacy.
From Tel Aviv to Washington, from Paris to Rawalakot, the governing apparatus still holds the monopoly of violence, but it has lost the monopoly of meaning. This is what Gramsci called the interregnum, when the old is dying and the new cannot be born. This is what Foucault called a crisis of governmentality. This is what Ibn Khaldun called the terminal stage of asabiyyah, when solidarity turns into luxury, corruption, and self-preservation.
Netanyahu is the purest example. Israel under his rule has perfected surveillance, technology, and military dominance, yet it has lost the one resource no empire can manufacture: the belief that its violence is just. Hannah Arendt warned that power without legitimacy degenerates into violence. Gaza, Lebanon, the streets of Tel Aviv filled with its own citizens, the courts of the world, all prove Arendt right. A state that can bomb a building but cannot answer a question has already lost the philosophical war. The world no longer asks if Israel is strong. It asks if Israel is right. And silence has become the answer.
Trump is not the cause of American decline. He is its mirror. The United States built its empire on two fictions: that its democracy was universal, and that its economy was inevitable. Both fictions have collapsed. The worker in Ohio does not believe in Washington. The youth in California does not believe in Wall Street. The world no longer believes in American moral leadership after Iraq, Afghanistan, Abu Ghraib, and Gaza. Trump understood one truth the liberal elite refused to see: the people no longer want to be managed. They want to be heard. He weaponised that truth, but he offered anger without philosophy, grievance without transcendence. America now oscillates between two emptinesses: managerial liberalism that administers decline, and populist rage that performs it.

As a Pakistani citizen, I demand immediate action by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Lahore High Court, the Islamabad High Court, and prison authorities on the medical rights of Imran Khan, Noreen Niazi, and Dr. Uzma Khan.
Imran Khan (Adiala Jail since August 2023) faces documented right-eye CRVO with prior severe vision loss, reported BP spikes up to 192, anxiety, and prolonged isolation previously flagged by the UN Special Rapporteur. Supreme Court medical orders remain incompletely enforced. Noreen Niazi (Kot Lakhpat, MPO detention since ~21 Sept 2026) was hospitalised late October for cardiac discomfort and high BP. Dr. Uzma Khan (same detention) has a heart condition requiring daily medication that the Lahore High Court ordered provided.
These are constitutional and human-rights issues of life, dignity, and enforcement of court orders. Preventive detention cannot justify medical neglect.
Demands:
1. Immediate independent medical examination of Imran Khan by a board including his nominated personal physicians (or equivalent independent specialists), with full transparency and family/legal access to findings.
2. Full and prompt enforcement of all existing Supreme Court and High Court orders on medical treatment, specialist access, hospital evaluation, and regular family/lawyer contact for Imran Khan.
3. Continuous adequate medical care and uninterrupted medication for Noreen Niazi and Dr. Uzma Khan, with proper family notification.
4. Review of the sisters’ preventive detention conditions and legal basis, ensuring due process and immediate family/legal meetings.
5. End to any prolonged isolation inconsistent with the Nelson Mandela Rules; guarantee of humane conditions.
6. Transparent public reporting by authorities on compliance.
Honourable Courts: exercise your supervisory jurisdiction now.

RAWALAKOT BLEEDS, IMRAN KHAN STILL SPEAKS: THE STATE HAS GUNS, THE NATION HAS A SOUL
There arrives a moment when the instruments of rule reveal more than the declarations of rule. Rawalakot is that moment.
The clearance at the bus terminal and Umar Farooq Chowk was not administration. It was confession. The state proved it can evacuate a space, but cannot explain why the space was occupied. Tariffs as extraction, flour as survival, reserved seats as manufactured consent, a committee proscribed for ordinary demands. This is not strain. It is the substitution of coercion for persuasion.
The deep state does not declare exhaustion. It enacts it. Forces move at dawn, houses burn, and the official voice asserts that armed elements fired first. The citizen is asked to believe that every assembly acquires weapons at the exact moment the establishment decides it must end. Repetition has turned coincidence into method. Method is not legitimacy. An order that must stage force to simulate normalcy has conceded that normalcy no longer reproduces itself.
The dead were not variables in a security calculus. They gathered because survival and representation had become one question. Their deaths do not restore the social contract. They document its dissolution. Condolence here is not ritual. It is the only true statement left.
This rupture is not local. In Israel, in America, in Europe, the same law operates: when the governed no longer recognise decisions as their own, politics migrates from chamber to street. Rawalakot is its local form.
In Pakistan, the imprisonment of Imran Khan, the constriction of his party, and the engineering of elections have not extinguished the constituency that sees him as the sole figure of unmediated politics. When the state answers demands for affordable power and fair representation with bans and bullets, it confirms that institutional channels are closed.
Imran Khan has transcended the politician. He is now proof that obedience must be earned, not extracted. To imprison a man who refuses to bow is to imprison the regime within his narrative. Every bullet in Rawalakot is a confession. The system fears a man in a cell more than an army on the frontier.
Rawalakot and Imran Khan are one dialectic. Rawalakot is the body bleeding on the road. Imran Khan is the soul refusing dissolution in the cell.
Consent is not sentiment. It is the condition that distinguishes authority from violence. Once withdrawn, force does not restore it. It accelerates its erosion.
The state can clear a terminal, a chowk, a city. It cannot clear Imran Khan from the consciousness where he now resides. And a consciousness that carries Imran Khan will never again consent to mastery.
