People don't understand that if Israel never existed, this war with Iran would have still happened.
How?
Far before the dawn of the US empire, another empire existed. The defeat of the Spanish Armada in 1588 was the dawn of a maritime global empire. The British Empire later codified this control with the General Maritime Treaty of 1820, and this absolute control of key geographical economic and military chokepoints was maintained all the way up to the empire's fall.
The Bretton Woods Conference in July of 1944 officially ceded the global empire, and it's geographical assets, including the Strait of Hormuz to the United States.
Notice this date is 4 years before the creation of Israel. Some may argue that the seeds of Israel were planted there, and I am sympathetic to that line of thought. The biggest obstacle to the emergence of a Greater Israel is Iran, especially now as it has remerged as a great power.
Where you lose me is the argument that we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Israel. This previous war was just the first time Iran demonstrated it's strength. This power had been built up over decades. In order for Iran to be considered a Great Power, they need to establish a sphere of influence over the region. Specifically it's western periphery and the Strait of Hormuz at the cost of the previous owners.
This by definition puts Iran and the US in each other's cross hairs. Sure Bibi likes to instigate, however the decision to go to war was always going to be made. Whether it was Trump, Biden, or whoever else.
Just like the decision for round 3 has already been made, and we are just waiting for it to all play out.
The markets on Monday.
Pretty much wipes out the chance of war being initiated by the US/Israel this weekend. Israel expects a response and wouldn't hamstring their own civilians.
🇮🇱 Heavy rains hit Israel, sending waters surging near the Dead Sea
Central and northern Israel were also hit, with some coastal areas recording over 100 mm of rain in under 2 hours!
This caused submerged cars, flooded streets, and power outages.
Authorities are urging people to avoid valleys and stream beds until waters recede.

The US is daring Iran to set the region on fire.
🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S. military FIRED on another commercial cargo ship trying to break Washington's blockade of Iranian ports.
And CENTCOM says the crew had been warned REPEATEDLY.
According to the U.S. military, the St. Kitts-flagged M/V Huda attempted to leave the region after visiting an Iranian port, ignoring repeated orders to comply with the blockade.
An American aircraft then fired precision munitions into the ship's STERN, disabling the vessel.
CENTCOM says the civilian crew was ordered to evacuate the targeted sections before the strike.

There is no force on this planet that will break the Yemeni. Bro came out of the wreckage pissed.
MBS not cutting his losses is going to start costing him territory. I predict it will be timed as Syrian troops enter the fold.
Iran will be forced to escalate. They are falling back into a death spiral if they let the US set the terms of escalation.
The US is willing to go quite far.
‼️🇮🇷---BREAKING
IRAN
Several explosions reportedly in Jask, Hormozgan Province, Iran.
Unclear at this moment the target was, although both the port and a missile launcher is mentioned. This follows an earlier cruise missile launch by Iran.
At this time it is being reported than Iran is targeting vessels in the Strait of Hormuz in response, though this is unconfirmed.

Elon explaining MBS' and the larger Saudi position aganist Yemen. 😅
Tesla and SpaceX Chief Executive Elon Musk wrote on X on 6 November 2026, as he shared a clip of his conversation with investor Ron Baron at the 33rd Annual Baron Investment Conference about working on site at the xAI data centre in Memphis, Tennessee, according to Benzinga:
“Armies that win have the general at the front lines. Nobody wants to bleed for the prince in the palace.”
Most people are too dumb to realize when AD gets sent to a country when there isn't time for training and deployment, they are usually manned by the country sending them. For example US/NATO operation of Patriot AD in the earlier days of the Ukraine war.
The belief of some that Iran after forcing the US to retreat twice this year is going to suddenly capitulate.
Do people think they are producing missiles and drones underground to fold?
Idiots are going into round 3 without learning anything, which tells me it's gonna be bad..
There is a storm coming, not performative strikes but the smashing of the Houthi’s. The market is simply not prepared for renewed large scale fighting. If Iran folds on a deal once Houthi’s get smashed and it gets money unfrozen, then they de facto sold out the Houthi’s. Something I rationalized with some great ME analyst from Kuwait. It doesn’t mean Iran won’t put on a show but it would show that they left the Houthi’s hanging out to dry, not that they have much choice anyway.
What the third war will teach us is Iran has self restrained themselves for the past few decades, and the enemies took that as weakness of resolve.
That is what Khamenei's directive was all about. Removing those limits, including missile range.
Nah, Iran has a while to go.
Why don't Sunnis just come out and say with their chest, that they like the Israelis don't see Palestinians as human, let alone Muslim.
The Saudi are increasingly resembling their Zionist masters as they continue to get pounded by Yemen.
I'd expect Yemeni target banks to get updated soon.
MBS' mega projects would look better with some direct ventilation. Time to put an end to Saudi Vision 2030.

I'd expect any massive land ops to happen once round 3 ends and the US is expelled from the region. Until then they can however soften targets with ballistic missiles during the war.
Azerbaijan knows they are the first stop on the Tehran Express.
