It just never felt or played out like a Spurs v Chelsea derby. No fight to win a ball, win an individual battle, or the match.

Most likely a way to bypass the press. But we didnβt compete for any of the 50/50 balls or win the 2nd balls.
Or maybe Alonso anticipated theyβd put pressure on a young GK and he was trying to simplify his play and avoid potential mistakes.

βWeβre Chelseaβ¦β¦..β as if we have a divine right to end the season 38-0 and a goal differential of +250.
Unrealistic expectations and impatience.

* 8 matches, not days.
Replying to @TheScore01
Exactly this. The owners have backed Alonso and given him what he wants. After 8 days, people want us to sack him and bring in someone else who wonβt want the players Xavi brought in, weβll have another group of players a manager doesnβt want, and then wait for a window where we try to reshape a team we just started reshaping.
On line Chelsea fans have lost all common sense and patience.

Who needs away fans when you can get abused by your own home supporters?
What an embarrassment.

When in any other season has the 9th match in a 38 match season ever been a βmust winβ?

He made a mistake in wet, difficult conditions. It has previously, and could have, happened to a goalkeeper of any age or experience.
Who among us has never made a mistake? How would we feel if people called us incompetent and wanted us fired or demoted after we made it?

No. Weβre 8 games in to a complete change in philosophy. A total opposite approach to the previous 4 years.
If you donβt realize that and understand it, you canβt be helped.
The only thing you remind us of is what a brainless moron you are. With the very post.
We cheer (support) the club. Win, lose, or draw.
Which is the polar opposite of staying silent until something that supports your negative agenda happens. Youβre nothing more than a shit merchant.

Xhaka coaching Sunderland to the bottom of the table now though?

Jesus people, we could be United supporters. Calm down.

Last weekend he was a managerial genius after beating Everton & keeping a clean sheet.
One week later, people want him sacked.
People need to calm down.

CPO permission is only needed for a (permanent or temporary) move away from Stamford Bridge (by 75% approval). CPO permission is not required for a redevelopment of the current site.
There is extra space to use now that the club owns the adjacent Stoll Residences site. And that wasnβt part of Abramovichβs Stamford Bridge 60k seat renovation proposal that was approved in 2018. So there is more configuration flexibility than there was previously. The club spent around Β£80 million for almost 2 additional acres of land to work with.
If the Earlβs Court Development Company made a space available for a stadium and plans got approved, the club would find the money to build provided the ROI was favorable. And as a CPO shareholder who has had many conversations on the subject with other CPO shareholders, a vote to approve such a move would likely be approved. But there are no EC plans for a stadium, the ECDC have publicly said there are no plans for one, and the residents in that area would likely vociferously oppose a stadium if one were to be put into any new plan for the site.

OK. The club we love and follow lost a match. And to make it worse, it was against a club we love to hate and rarely lose to.
But people have lost all common sense, context, patience, and perspective with this negativity. Fire the manager because he lost to Spurs? Ridiculous. Sell Penders to a Siberian third division club? Absurd.
After Everton last week, we were finishing in the Top 4. One week later, weβre finishing in the bottom 3. Our on line supporters are manic. These people have no idea what support means.
We lost a football match yesterday. We didnβt lose a family member in tragic circumstances.
Get over it. People have bad days, make mistakes, and can have a poor performance. Weβve all had that happen to us, received support from friends, family, & colleagues, and survived.
What a brainless fool.
Rogers & Palmer are shit because they didnβt score.
But heβd rather have a goalless Hazard. Who somehow wouldnβt be shit for not scoring.
I never called you plastic. In fact, Iβve never called anyone plastic.
Rogers and Palmer are excrement players because they didnβt score a goal in one game? It happens.
The problem isnβt Palmer or Rogers. Itβs you and your delusional expectations.

It wasnβt a horror performance. Calm down.
One mistake on a wet ball in rainy conditions. You act like GKβs are robots and arenβt allowed to make a mistake. Every GK has.
Weβre supposed to keep Sanchez as a back up? He didnβt want that, and Martinez was bought after Sanchez made error after error. How many GKβs could we send out on loan?
Maybe the actual problem is expecting players, managers, and teams to be 100% perfect and error free every match.
