The top American soccer player thinks lifting weights is an important part of player development, and so do we.
Weight room opens today at KHS, lifting sessions at 8 am, 10 am, 5 pm, and 6 pm. Let’s go!

Give me any athlete of any sport & 90% of the training process will be the same. All athletes will warm up, sprint, jump, land, strength train, train for power/condition. Sure-there’s slight differences but don’t over-think it.
Different sports.All..Training..Together.

High level Strength and Speed development has many training commonalities ⬇️
🔹Frequent exposures to high intensity is key
🔹Quality > quantity
🔹Long rest times > Short/No Rest Times
🔹Train at various speeds
Good training practices are universal.

If you are a High school athlete that can’t make time to get to the weight room…
I hope you don’t plan on playing at the next level, because trust me you will be training year round.
Even on game-days👀

"Toughness is what helps you be able to maintain the DISCIPLINE that you need to have to do what you need to do, WHEN you’re supposed to do it, the WAY it’s SUPPOSED to get done.”
Staying up late playing video games, skipping breakfast , drinking energy drinks, missing training sessions, and scrolling social media won't make you a champion.
Weak things break. If you want to be a champion you're going to need to develop mental toughness and discipline in your routine.
