Chinese are getting stabbed to death in Melbourne.
Labor won't even get 15% of the votes.
They are completely gone.
RIP to the innocent hard working father of 2.
Absolutely devastating.
Labor, you should just do the right thing and fold your hand now.
Worst government in history.

The reason we are in this mess is because of 12 years of a morally bankrupt and ethically corrupt @VictorianLabor
The reason we are in this mess is that so many people have developed an aversion to holding the GOVERNMENT to account over the last 12 years

Between gagging the Productivity Commission and this, I don't know how people are still defending Albanese.
This is a complete betrayal of the values they claim to hold and the virtues they purport to have.
"Independent senator Fatima Payman claims Prime Minister Anthony Albanese offered her additional staff in exchange for her vote during contentious Senate negotiations in the last term of parliament."
Absolutely shameful stuff.

Australian per capita consumption has risen by just 0.2% in real terms since Q2 2018.
Inflation is not driven by the existing populace spending far more at the aggregate.
Even if we take the final pre-Covid reading as our baseline, 89% of household consumption growth has come via population growth since then.
So it's not the existing populace spending significantly more, its simply more people driving aggregate demand.

Replying to @AustralianLabor
@australianlabor gave the Australian Council of Trade Unions 11.65 million taxpayer dollars in 24/25, who then spent 5.5 million dollars campaigning for Labor to be reelected in 2025. Did Fortescue mining billionaire Twiggy Forest spend to get Labor reelected? His tax free charity Mindaloo don’t list where their 250 million 24/25 donations went. The ATO don’t require they be disclosed. The Federal Government give Mindaroo tens of millions in contracts and the Government gave Fortescue 100 million plus for failed Renewable energy projects. Why is Oz media only interested in Gina?

When we started Bike Boy — the True Crime Podcast, our critics smeared us as conspiracy theorists because they were scared what we would find.
One year; and 28 episodes later, we are one of the highly listened to podcasts in Australia.
And the evidence we have gathered has been scrutinised by two Chief Police Commissioners and referred to Victoria’s anti-corruption body IBAC for investigation.
But we are not done yet.
We are working up a pre-election episode, and have already started writing Series 4, for February 2027.
The goal is to ensure that a new Government in Victoria doesn’t let corruption by past Governments go unpunished.
No-one is above the law.
And if a new Government wants people to start believing in the system again, it must make sure crimes are finally prosecuted.
If you can, please help us fund the production of Series 4 here.

As Australians battle rising power bills, the bureaucrats overseeing the nation’s energy policy have pocketed eye-watering pay cheques > bit.ly/4iqY1mX
There has never been an energy transition in human history. Demand for power goes up and new sources are added to old
Energy prices actually paid by households are 26.5 per cent higher now than in 2019.
That is largely due to the rising cost of gas and coal. Gas and coal power generation is still critical to keeping the lights on, but ageing power stations, competition from cheap renewables and government restrictions on new supply have made it more expensive.
Yes, overseas wars are a factor, but a big part of it is the energy transition.
That’s not an explanation voters will hear from Canberra. Australia’s politicians have failed to level with the electorate about the up-front bill for the energy transition.
