An utterly horrific Russian attack on the settlement of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region. Since this morning, the settlement has been hit several times by aerial bombs. The strikes targeted a school used for humanitarian purposes – people were receiving humanitarian aid there. After the first aerial bomb strike, there was a double-tap strike with nine more bombs, specifically targeting the shelter where people were taking cover. Tragically, 18 people have already been reported killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Five people have been injured. A rescue operation is underway at the site, and the search for people continues. It is extremely difficult. Military forces, first responders, and special services are involved.
The Russians could not have been unaware that every week, local residents who had remained in Komyshuvakha received humanitarian aid at that very location. And this is further proof that Russia wants no de-escalation and no real justice. After the humanitarian operation in Oleshky, there was a moment when the next steps could have shown that progress toward peace was possible. With these killings, Russia is sending an entirely opposite signal: Russia is counting on more killings. There must be a response to this – a response from the world. A strong and tough response. A response to Russia. And support for Ukraine. We must protect lives. Thank you to everyone who is helping!

Von der Windkraft kommt nur relativ wenig. Offshore lieferte über drei Tage hinweg sogar fast nichts.
Da es überwiegend herbstlich bewölkt war, kamen von den inzwischen rund 6,5 Millionen PV-Anlagen im Land auch nur vergleichsweise wenig Sonnenstrom.
Das hat(te) zur Folge, dass viel mehr Erdgas und Kohle verstromt werden muss –
und der Börsenstrompreis wegen dem mangelhaften Stromangebot hoch ist/war. Meist lag er bei 200 bis 350 €/MWh, einmal auch bei über 570 €.

Der deutsche Atomausstieg bleibt auch mir ein Mysterium:
Eine eigene Vorzeigeindustrie wurde von wenigen Freaks mit Lügen und Angstmacherei wie «Die Wolke» torpediert und von Merkel ohne Plan B politisch geopfert.
Wirtschaftsführer folgten dem Diktat der Politik wie Lämmer. Arbeitsplätze und Standort aufs Spiel gesetzt. Wie ist so etwas möglich?
Schlimmer: Bis heute fehlt der Mut, diesen Irrsinn zu korrigieren. Kollektives Führungsversagen.
Diese Hilflosigkeit kann einem Angst machen. Was kommt da noch auf Deutschland und Europa zu, wenn die Dummheit regiert?

Welcher dieser ist, braucht man nicht lange zu raten:
"Deutschlands Atomausstieg und die hohen Energiekosten."
Warum die deutsche Politik unfähig ist, dies zu korrigieren, bleibt gerade für ausländische Beobachter ein Mysterium.

Im in Aerospace, just my perspective.. about todays plane crash in Florida.
Icing and moderate turbulence lead to a phenomenon called Mach tuck. It is common in Learjet 60’s and older Learjet’s. Essentially, you exceed the maximum airspeed at altitude and it is unrecoverable to the point that you continue to speed up while not being able to produce lift with your wings.
Further description: your coefficient of lift eventually moves too far behind the wing making it impossible to produce lift, this causes the aircraft to lose altitude like a falling dart, in turn gaining airspeed and crashing.
All Pilots are aware of this, some just push too close to the maximum speed threshold, and when you experience clear air turbulence or other factors like icing that would push you too far past the maximum speed threshold without the capability to control the wing normally, this happens.
Long story short...icing changes the shape of the wing critically and adds weight to plane (double whammy, but mainly airflow issue over the wing), Learjets are vulnerable to over speed situations because of the type of wing is small, sleek, and unforgiving in the name of efficiency and performance, mix all of that together with moderate turbulence which can fluctuate your airspeed, this causes the aircraft to enter Mach tuck over speed condition. The result is a lawn dart scenario that you see here. Very sad.
