"Our understanding is that to the extent that happened on the 13th and on the 18th, it was a technical matter. Somewhat unremarked upon is that Trump has made two era-defining foreign policy decisions — launching war with Iran and de facto aligning the U.S. with its decades-old enemy/adversary Russia (formerly the Soviet Union) — with NO consultation of the American people. Absolutely none. He literally reserved more TV time for the “election foreign-interference” crock than on two strategies that could perpetually undermine U.S. national and economic security. That's an election issue if there ever was one.
