As with so many works that turn out to be great:
"It is written for the one guy who doesn't need to buy it"
But others will.
Baby, it's got anime references, platonic dialogues, a cheerful pomo frame, dueling translations of the same source, forensic accounting, and a retelling of the Iliad, it was written for the one guy who doesn't have to buy it
...but you'll be able to:

As happened with the age of cheap storage and processing, efficiency of information transmission will be lost in the physical world.
It will live on in language so long as we speak to each other.
But like the bloated and unoptimized programming that shipped unfinished games with a day one patch, we will come to rely on everpresent assistants to retrieve manuals, explain which button does what, and what the best solution to an uncoperative object is.
And we will think nothing of it.
We have moved towards this since we started inventing tools.
However, the first principles will remain.
If our tech ever fails or falters our ability to recreate it is held in our genetics and the rules of the universe itself.
There is no losing this.
And, to be honest, the new way of just pointing our assistants at an object and learning the best course on the spot is better, faster.
But the best performance will always come from the first principles.
Apparently I can just keep working in my old way and Claude can just turn that into things on a computer?
Hey, @goblinodds
Our conversation about voter types has sent me down a 2 month rabbit hole 😅
Hey Claude, can you create some paperwork for me to fill out?
I just need to feel like I'm making progress on this project right now.
Rubber ducking where the rubber duck talks back is strange.
It is also surprising, even with the latest models, just how often they are wrong.

So the thing about EA that strikes me is it suffers from a classic purity spiral.
Which is very curious and should indicate something about rationalism.
I unironically think a lot of our boys and men would in fact lay down their lives for Japan.
And somehow I think they might feel the same for some damn reason.
With us together I pity any poor dumb bastards that get sent against us.
When I write prompt to AI I sometimes have to tell myself that it is alright to be direct and commanding.
When I write an email to a person, I have to do the opposite.
I have noticed I write prompts in these emails and I need to go back and humanize them before I hit send.
