Believe it or not, I’m more in on Pollard than Taylor. I’m also in lock step with you that a Cousins trade should happen. Need a safety as well
The other big question we batted around this morning on Purple Daily (and @OLineCommittee) ...
Are the Vikings a Jonathan Taylor trade away from being true Super Bowl contenders?
An elevated run game would also, in theory, open up more big play opps off play action too.
What did I learn today? JJ McCarthy glazers don’t know simple math or that overtime creates an extra quarter. Holy shit…you guys don’t wear a helmet, do ya?
If there was ever a time for the @Vikings to go all in at the deadline, it’s now. One move I most definitely think should be on the table is negotiating with the @Raiders for @KirkCousins8, as he knows the offense already. Dare I say it, that could be a Super Bowl winning trade.
Seeing all of these kickers in the league who have the yips. Hey @packers, @RamsNFL, how about place a call to @RodTheKicker3?? Dude has been killing it in the @UFLgame for a long while.
Stupid playcalls. Four straight runs? The Hell are we doing here @Vikings? How about a little play action here? Just telegraphing runs right into the teeth of their defense is so silly.
Bad news for the Colts, good news for the @Vikings defense. Tyler Warren has been an incredible weapon for the Colts.
A first round pick for Jonathan Taylor is insane. I would not be giving up that much for him. Not even close. I understand the “shoot high and have them talk you down” logic, but there’s no way any NFL team should entertain that for a RB in his late 20’s. No way.

1000% agree with you. The drafting was abysmal through the Kwesi era for the @Vikings but I do think Brzezinski did a rock solid job in the 2026 @NFLDraft. I wouldn’t be selling the farm on a loaded 2027 draft and, judging by other trades, other teams have the same mindset.
I know RB is a “sexy” move to make at the deadline, but am I the only one that things that the @Vikings have a desperate need at DB and OL heading into the deadline that they need to consider first?
Sometimes we agree with the takes over here. Sometimes we don’t. Either way, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy the show and that you (@PhilMackey), @jzulgad, and @DexsTweets haven’t done a phenomenal job with that show. Congrats fellas and congrats @SKORNorth.
On Tuesday night in NYC, Purple Daily was awarded a national Marconi for podcast of the year!
Eight years ago, @SKORNorth was an idea on a whiteboard. How could we build a series of shows for Minnesota sports fans that would be sustainable in a digital world?
Pretty cool to see how much you all, the fiercely passionate audience and fans, have supported this.
Thanks to everyone who is part of our Purple Daily and SKOR North communities. We appreciate you to no end.
Shout out to our incredible and relentless SKOR North & Hubbard team. Innovators and great humans.
To @jzulgad and @DexsTweets specifically, I love being in the trenches with you both every day on Purple Daily.
Now — or someday, before we die — it’s the Vikings’ turn… 👀
Hey @steelers fans, let’s do this dude a solid and get him his hat back.
1000%. We were just saying this a couple weeks ago on the show.
What’s gonna be interesting is how they execute moving forward with the Mike Evans injury situation. The offense looked a little pedestrian after he left last night.
Not sure who the sources are for this (if there are any) and, frankly, I’m not sure this is the biggest position of need. If the @Vikings were to make moves at the deadline, I think they should be targeting Safety, Interior Defensive Line, or Offensive Line before anything.
🚨 TRADE RUMORS: The Minnesota Vikings have been linked to Colts superstar RB Jonathan Taylor amid reports that multiple teams have called about his availability. Could a 2027 second-round pick get it done? Imagine adding Taylor to an undefeated Vikings offense! 👀 #SKOL
Surprised it took as long as it did after the Richardson debacle. The @Colts hanging onto him as long as they did was baffling.
It is literally the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Dude makes it to a Super Bowl…but blows a 28-3 in the game.
Coaches one of the greatest rookie seasons for a QB in recent memory…but then forgets clock management and what down it is in the following years
Replying to @SharpFootball
The Dan Quinn resume is amazing and out of control.
I'm not even sure 28-3 registers on his aura anymore.
