Since Christmas is around the corner, and we are lacking UFC events, going to spread some joy. Here is my "favourite" coach dropping some very useful advice to his fighters.

Petr Yan lands a left hook to the body off the uppercut. Yan proves @P4PReels WRONG by using the high guard effectively in MMA.

Makhachev went his entire lightweight title reign without fighting a single legitimate lw title contender Now people are surprised he is getting cold feet straight after fighting the first #1 contender he’s fought in over 4 years ? Such a shame, could of been something special

🚨 Dana White teases a 'very unique' UFC event that he says will draw fans from around the world 👀 "We're working on an event right now that will be very unique. People from all over the world will want to come see it. I already started to see renderings of what we could possibly do. I look forward to announcing that soon."

Imagine if Adesanya didn’t fight Strickland cause Pereira knocked him out. Or if Merab didn’t fight Yan again cause O’Malley beat him. This is really stupid logic.
🚨 Islam Makhachev explains why he turned down the Carlos Prates fight in January "They offered me a fight with Prates, who recently lost to [Ian Garry], someone I beat. If I beat him, Morales would already be next in line, who's not fighting and waiting for [a title shot]. Just let them fight and we will figure out who's the real challenger." (via pound4padel/IG)

If the fence wasnt there and this was in the center of the octagon we would have genuinely seen Movsar turning his back and running away 💀💀 The fence stopped his turn. Saved him from a Chelsea Chandler moment (those who know)

Not even the Ali on X excuse could help. Again - Izzy/Khamzat Strickland, Topuria/Gaethje (yes he got an interim belt but could easily say he lost to Oliveira/Max, so why do it? Certainly people expected him to get slaughtered). He’s avoiding the fights.

Now maybe if he floated the idea of retiring and wanting to have a special fight, then you can just Bisping/GSP it and whoever is interim is the actual champ, but it doesn’t seem like it. Just seems like he doesn’t want to fight both of them.

So he’s just admitting this is to eliminate a future contender. When he claimed wanting to fight in January, who did he have in mind?

God forbid Islam Makhachev would have to defend the title an extra time. Volk was begging to defend against Evloev or Murphy a year ago and the UFC made them fight each other for the shot. Imagine if Merab told Umar that he had to fight Yan to get a title shot.

These three deserve better than the modern UFC. Incredible fighters
Honestly Volk, Yan and Van are the only current UFC champs keeping my faith alive at the moment. Rest of the divisions are pretty much all inactive champs, injured champs, interim/vacant titles, champs who keep talking about retiring etc.
