I understand why people are taking a second look at the Tories given the mess Reform is in, but you have to listen carefully to what Badenoch says. She thinks the disintegrating social fabric can be repaired with managerial tinkering. She ultimately thinks it's a integration problem - and an institutional problem (fixing the police, the schools and the operating assumptions of authorities).
While these are all changes that need to happen, they needed to happen at least ten years ago - but there's no integrating the Boriswave. Most of it is garbage immigration that can only be a net drain. The policies Badenoch has thus far backed only go some of the way. Ending ILR is essential, as is deporting illegals and removing benefits, but the policy has to be an active policy of complete Boriswave reversal.
On that score, for Badenoch to be convincing, she ought to be showing as much contempt for the Tories who enabled the Boriswave as she does Reform.
This where the Tory party itself becomes the main barrier. Shabana Mahmood has faced opposition from her back benchers on marginal ILR reforms - but there's no reason to expect the Tory party will be any different. They all spout the same bullshit rhetoric about "fairness" and "British values", and Tories almost certainly will seek carve-outs for care workers on the same basis. The exception becomes the loophole.
Without an unequivocal recognition that the Boriswave was a historic error in need of urgent correction, the Tory party is just another managed decline option. Same destination, slower speed.

Reform UK is delivering where it leads.

Here are my predictions for you Restore Britain voters over the next 12 months, and I say this with zero personal malice. You can post about gamekeepers and rural shooting all day, but the reality of your current predicament, your odds of building a professional party, and your actual polling trajectory is completely unforgiving:
1. Infrastructure Growth (The 12-Month Wall)
Building a genuine political party takes years of data collection, millions in funding, and a massive grassroots machine. Right now, Restore Britain is a splinter group relying almost entirely on the personal brand of one MP. Over the next 12 months, you face the brutal logistical reality of trying to vet local candidates, build regional branches, and fund ground campaigns from scratch. You simply do not have the financial runway or the structural machinery to scale up into a national operation within a year.
2. Odds of Becoming a Professional Party
Currently, Restore Britain operates more like a niche pressure group that slapped a "political party" label on its bio. To survive as a professional electoral machine, you need a broad, fully costed national platform, intense media discipline, and a heavyweight shadow cabinetโnot just continuous posts about gamekeepers and rural butchers. UK political history is a graveyard of splinter factions that failed to professionalise. Without an established national apparatus, the odds of Restore Britain shaking the fringe vanity project label are virtually zero.
3. Polling Reality & The Wasted Vote
Under the First Past The Post system, the electoral math is completely unforgiving. Best-case scenario over the next year? You might scrape 1% to 2% in national polls. In practice, all Restore Britain will achieve is splitting the anti-establishment, right-leaning vote in key constituencies. By acting as a statistical spoiler, you won't win seatsโyou will simply lower the threshold for Labour or the Lib Dems to sweep through marginals.
Ideological purity on rural issues might feel good on social media, but in reality, a vote for Restore Britain achieves nothing. It is a wasted, bitter vote that actively fragments the only movement with the actual scale and momentum to challenge Westminster.
Restore Britain is an unashamedly pro-shooting party.
It is a vital part of rural Britain, helping supply British game to local butchers, restaurants, pubs and households.
It supports gamekeepers, farmers, rural businesses, food processors, hospitality jobs and more. It pumps millions and millions into parts of rural Britain that are entirely forgotten by Westminster - very often at times of the year when otherwise local businesses would perish.
We want to see more British game on dinner tables, at home but also across the public sector. Letโs serve more game in our schools, hospitals and other public sector institutions.
Why not? Rather than importing cheap meat from the other side of the planet.
Use what we have here.
A Restore Britain Government will proudly celebrate the food produced in our countryside and the people whose livelihoods depend on it. Something urban MPs, the vast majority of them, will never understand.
Restore Britain supports responsible shooting.

Iโll always question the accuracy of any non-MRP seat by seat forecast that shows Bury St Edmunds and Suffolk Coastal as remaining Labour.
Current majorities of ~1400 and ~1100 respectively. At the 2026 locals, Labour placed just behind the Lib Demโs county wide.

๐จ Andy Burnham has said he is open to taking Britain BACK into freedom of movement with the EU.
That means 450 million people will be able to move to the UK, with no powers to stop them.

Burnham is determined to open the floodgates and overwhelm Britain.

Another interesting "direction of travel" decision here.
Kemi's "New" Conservative Party has re-selected REMAINER Roger Gale as a parliamentary candidate.
Gale is 83, and recently REFUSED to vote for ECHR withdrawal, and in fact called the idea of leaving "a grave mistake."
He was previously suspended from parliament for attempted to influence judges to protect a sexual assault convict, his friend and former MP Charlie Elphicke.
Tell us, @KemiBadenoch, Is this really a NEW Conservative Party?
Or is it the SAME OLD TORIES?
I'm following all the things the Tory party is doing. And one of those things is selecting their candidates for the next election.
Remember, Kemi Badenoch keeps claiming that it's a NEW Conservative Party, and one that learned from their "mistakes."
So why then, have they just selected yet ANOTHER Remainer candidate, who voters already kicked out in 2024?
David Morris MP has just been selected for Morecombe and Lunsdale.
He was an arch Cameroon. A firm Remainer. And said in an interview about his renewed candidacy: "I am returning to... finish what I started.โ
UH... What you started over those 14 failed years?
NO THANKS!
P.S. Guess what David did in his years out of parliament?
That's right!
He went to be Vice President to the Council of Europe, and in a ceremony at the Palais de Europe in Strasbourg on the evening of Monday September 29, Mr Theodoros Roussopoulos the President of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, awarded Mr Morris with the Medal of Europe.
"Iโm truly humbled to accept this prestigious award," Morris said.
