Every time I start a new edit, I tear up a little, knowing an author has trusted me to read their work and find all the areas where small changes can make a difference in reader comprehension and opinion. Frankly, it's overwhelming.

Hospitalised last summer in a single room. Took in my own hepa filter. Almost every member of staff asked me what it was which I found surprising. Just down the corridor many had Covid. Yet staff keen to tell me I didn’t need to wear a mask when I had to be in the corridor!

I'm watching Instinct on @paramountplus. In the first season, the gay married couple has very little PDA. In fact, by their behavior, you'd never know they were in love. But this cishet couple's first kiss? Way more screen time. Utterly frustrating and disappointing.
