I want to tell everyone what they took from us, what irreversible really means, and what that reality looks like for us. No one told me any of what I’m going to tell you now. 🧵

My Detransition, 5 years later. My first time speaking in public! I cried a lot when I was writing this speech, and it was impossible for me to contain my emotions on stage. I’m so grateful that I was welcomed to speak at this event and share my story.

"If a man can be a woman, there is no such thing as a woman. That might not matter to you personally, but it matters to millions of women who don’t have the luxury of pretending that their sex doesn’t matter. I remain on their side." Thank you, @jk_rowling, your voice has given me strength.

Femininity may be subjective relative to women, but not to this man. No matter how hard he tries, femininity is closed to him. I reference my own experience not because they are what makes me a woman, but because they are things that can ONLY happen to a woman.

A woman is not a penis-less man. A man without a penis is still a man. It’s all for nothing, and it’s barbaric.

Keep in mind that this isn’t uncommon, especially in autistic people, but just AGPs in general. Certain ones think that they’re not only women, but that everyone else thinks they are too, and they walk around under this false belief 24/7. Not healthy for them or society.

an older man who gets convinced that his porn addiction means he’s a woman and needs to be castrated is not less of a victim of social contagion and medical malpractice than a young woman who gets convinced that her autism means she’s a man and needs her breasts removed.

Pro tip: always, always meet your heroes. Without the incredible, painstaking work of @WomenReadWomen (and all her support of @NotAllGays), I would not be the advocate for women’s rights and gay rights I am today. Still utterly starstruck and grateful to have got to have dinner and drinks with one of the women I admire most.

Therapy First Conference in NYC this weekend features Speakers that have mutilated, through puberty blockers and cross sex hormones, hundreds of children. Erica Anderson (AGP) has had hundreds of teen patients, according to the Los Angeles Times. Laura Edwards-Leeper, founding psychologist of Boston Children's Hospital's paediatric child abusing clinic, states on her own website that she adapted the Dutch Protocol for use in the United States and continues to provide assessments determining children's readiness for puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgery. Amy Tishelman, former research director at Boston Children's transgender clinic and a lead author of WPATH's international standards of care for children, helped shape the field of paediatric child abusing medicine. Each of them has apparently decided that after harming so many children that many fewer kids should be put through this profound abuse, but none have said NO CHILD as far as I can see. One of the speakers is an AGP... other's are Anna Hutchinson, Lisa Marciano and Sasha Ayad. This is the most grotesque gaslighting by all practitioners who claim to be against mutilating kids with puberty blockers and cross sex hormones. The conference claims to want to build bridges between those who claim to be against this shite and those who have harmed children.... genuinely.

NHS Sussex and NHS England were formally warned Brighton trans doctor was out of control in 2020, documents show. Whistleblower alleges unknown number of children harmed as eventual investigation (which began in 2025) had limited scope. genderblog.net/nhs-knew-of-c…

I wrote a really detailed review of post-detransition breast reconstruction, with the kind of information I wanted to have for making the decision, hopefully it helps some people

It's funny to look back at my old tweets where I'm like "my life is basically ruined... I'm a mutilated husk" and now all my tweets are like "🗣️ I NEED A 100 DECIBAL HORN ON MY STROLLER SO I CAN HONK AT CARS WHO BLOCK THE CROSSWALK"

How much harm should person A be allowed to impose on person B? Even if Person B consents to it? Also, this is not medical healthcare and doctors and other clinicians should not be allowed to pretend that it is

This is one of the reasons why trans people decide they don’t want to be here anymore. This is cruel and we should NOT be performing these surgeries. Humans are not experiments. Everything has a consequence. I feel sad for this person and angry at all that encouraged it.

It's an insanely highly risky procedure that induces life long complications and these risks are grossly understated by so called medical professionals. They don't properly screen people, they don't properly inform risks and there is NO medical pathway for us. Nada.
It is their choice. Why does it hurt you?

Every person I've talked to about this didn't go through with it once they properly understood what it meant. There is no liberation in state sanctioned castration

A very interesting conversation with @Psychgirl211 . She talks about the trans stroop effect; the subject of the 2019 article "pronouns are rohypnol" .
Oof - this one hits hard. If Dr P is right, anyone who affirmed a 'trans' colleague made things worse for them. Horrifying to think that employers forced their staff to do this for YEARS - and many are still doing it. Link to @Psychgirl211's unflinching new interview ⬇️
