This was CLT airport this weekend.
@NC_Governor @RoyCooperNC how can this be okay but you won’t allow more than 100 people into a high school stadium? The students have suffered enough this past year. Let their families watch them play. @NCHSAA @SecMandyCohen @SCSportsReport

The -7 actual temperature could not deter the 14 men who joined me @F3Sanitarium to test our survivalist mindset during this polar vortex!

Have to disagree Brother. Schools are not a contributing factor to the death rate. Kids don’t get, spread or die from it at a statistically significant rate. The infinitesimal risk to children of actual school does not outweigh the real damage done to them by virtual school. 1/

So I ask again, where is the data showing schools being a source of Covid spread?

A job well done by the @UCPSNC Board and Superintendent, keeping #FactsOverFear and exhibiting strong, student-centric leadership through this unique year.
@CMSboard and @CMSSupt would be well-served learning from our neighbors providing safe, high-quality educational services.

With the @CMSboard voting 8-1 today to deny in-person instruction to students whose in-person services are protected under federal law, I have no choice but to begin to seek remedies for Mecklenburg County families from and through @SenThomTillis.

Continued "low and stable" community spread, despite some calling for "substantially lower" before we allow kids back into the classrooms where all agree they learn best.
When do we start listening to our public health officials and Healthcare partners?

I trust the CDC, AAP, and the medical professionals who spoke last night that it is better for kids to be in school. I woke up worried about my children’s education. 6 years in CMS and until today I was never worried. Frustrated sometimes yes, worried never. Remote doesn’t work

Dear @CharMeckSchools & @RoyCooperNC - you are killing the spirit of my children. They thrive on the social relationships & learning they experience every day during the school year. My kids beg to go to school to see their friends and your plans are poison
