I've been a live event host for 14 years. I've been to 6 WrestleManias. I was the in-stadium host for the @Utah_Football game at @Rice_Eccles last night and I can definitely say that this crowd - specificallty, @TheMUSS - was the single loudest crowd I've ever heard in my life.
DISASTER by Houston, fumble recovered by Utah. Stadium is shaking

As the PA voice at Rice Eccles I can tell you the only other crowd comparable was the night USC came to town and Rising ran it in late! There is a reason I called for Ute fans to give THEMSELVES a hand in the closing minute!! BRAVO!!

I love the church, went to Byu and ignoramus takes like this just make me more passionate about my Utah fandom.

Utah fans are seriously people who hate the church, people who didn’t get into BYU, and then a few generational LDS Utah fans. Even though Utah has the largest LDS Institute in the country, the feeling on campus is certainly anti-LDS.

A @united grounds crew employee would have to work 40 hour weeks for about 800 years to make what Scott Kirby makes in a year. He could reduce his salary to $1mil annually and give a raise of $1,100 to the lowest 25% earning United employees. Insane hypocrisy.
United CEO Scott Kirby, told by Louisiana's governor to cut a check, says even trillionaire Elon Musk doing it isn't enough to make a difference [ This came from the governor of Louisiana, who said, 'How audacious from a guy who didn't even build United and makes $32 million a year. If he feels that strongly, he should simply cut a check.' ] "Of course not. And it's also... it's not even what I said." "I mean, Elon Musk decided to do it. He is a trillionaire. It's not enough to make a difference." "I'm not going to run for governor of Louisiana, so he can relax."

Sources: No. 10 Utah will be without starting offensive lineman Kelvin Obot (ankle) against No. 14 Houston on Saturday night. Obot is a 6-foot-5, 295-pound true freshman who came to Utah as an ESPN Top 50 overall recruit in the Class of 2026 and No. 5 tackle prospect.

An advisor at Byu recommended I take working for Romney 2012 off of my resume because liberal employers wouldn't like it. I left it on and got a job from a guy who worked for Jimmy Carter. Strong democrat but did not discriminate my political beliefs. I've always respected that

This story is insane.
“I honestly thought I was dead.” An Idaho father fought a black bear with his bare hands after it burst into his home at 3:30 a.m. with his wife and daughters just feet away. Brian Heidemann tackled the bear through the doorway and wrestled it in the backyard. The animal bit the back of his head and shoulder and left deep scratches and wounds across his arms and torso. His wife, Kim, was also attacked, suffering injuries to her back. Then their dog, Lulu, jumped into the fight, helping distract the bear and protect her family. Brian made it back inside, bleeding heavily, telling Kim he loved her and feared he wouldn’t survive. As the family tried to get him help, two more bears attempted to break into the house. A neighbor finally rushed over with a gun and drove the bears away. Brian was taken to the hospital and later flown to Idaho Falls, where he underwent surgery. He received staples for wounds to the back of his head. The family shared the terrifying details of a night that felt like a horror movie with my colleague @NewswithKait. eastidahonews.com/2026/10/it…

Hold up so they did this then illegally faked the snap count to cause a fumble and save a touchdown? Once again the least likable team in CFB.
I mean look at this should be a flag

This is hilarious. A Byu fan losing an argument with Grok over the PI. With the 4th & Hold call vs Utah national pundits were split on the call. With this ND game, I'm yet to see a non-Byu fan claim it wasn't PI & clock error. Just say "we got away with one and take the w"

From the video frames, ND receiver Jaden Greathouse (#1) extends his arm and makes the first clear contact with the BYU defender. Contact then turns mutual as they grapple in the end zone. The BYU defender never turns to locate the ball and restricts Greathouse's path. Most rules analysts called it defensive pass interference.

This. Undefeated, 5-0 vs the spread, haven’t been losing or tied beyond the first quarter. Only team in country to win every game by 14+ Truly dominant football. 10/10
Have heard a lot of people (both inside and outside the Utah fanbase) suggest Utah was predicted to be 5-0 at this point in the season. And they want to know why I think Utah is exceeding expectations. It’s simple (but wordy): look at how Utah is winning these football games in dominant fashion. To start the Spaces on Saturday, I listened to fans nitpicking a 17-point win as if Utah were the ones on the receiving end of a three-score loss. Things eventually settled, and ended with more of a positive tune. Which is good, because a 17-point win against a P4 opponent should always be viewed as a net positive. I get it, though… everyone wants these 30-plus point win predictions they throw out to come to fruition. If you average it out, Utah is winning 42.8-13.3–you can round that out to 43-13, and you have your 30-point average margin of victory. For what it’s worth, Utah is 5-0 against the spread—a more realistic and educated prediction to follow. The coaches aren’t looking at Saturday’s result as a perfect one, but they know to appreciate the wins. Morgan Scalley opened up the postgame press conference by saying it wasn’t a clean game by any stretch, and continued by acknowledging how hard it is to win a college football game. Utah has 5 of them, and even in their “worst” moments, they’re winning by 17 points. That’s exceeding expectations. I’ve said it in a few spots, but I’ll say it again: It is a helluva lot better to learn and grow from a 17-point win than a loss. That’s where Utah sits right now. 5-0. Ranked #11 in the country. The favorites to win the Big 12. And seemingly better than 2025. All of this amidst a massive transition period from a long-time head coach to a first-time head coach. Not to mention all the other staff that needed to be replaced. If you can confidently say that this Utah Football team isn’t exceeding expectations… that’s a level of pessimism/criticism that I’m not equipped to handle/entertain/accept. This is year one under the new regime, and the University of Utah seems better for the change. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
