Id bet the security team who sent this out is also not getting rings. This is basically a publicity stunt to highlight all the employees who aren’t getting rings. Well done by the security team

TL;DR Knicks sent email to employees to choose the design for their championship rings. Turns out it was a company-mandated phishing test and those who clicked the link were forced to attend a cybersecurity class. Despite custom, they will not receive championship rings.
